I've read some of your posts here, friend. If I were you, I'd pick up my Holy Bible and read it from beginning to end, asking the good LORD to reveal His Holy Will to you before picking up your guitar again.

    Matthew 7:1-5
“Do not judge, or you too will be judged.2 For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. 3 “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?4 How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye?5 You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.
    Luke 22:20
In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.

There is no plank in my eye, friend. I am a new creature in Christ, and Christ has no plank in his eye.

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

The closest thing to the saxophone in Biblical times is the Shofar (traditionally made from a ram's horn). The instrument definitely has a conical bore like the saxophone, but according to the Old Testament only male Jews were permitted to play it.

For those interested in music from the Bible, this crack pot has claimed to have deciphered the musical notation used in the Bible:

We here at Landover have not been able to vouch for the authenticity, but here is his take on what Psalm 146 would have sounded like:

For my tastes, there is nothing like the rousing sound of Sir Arthur Sullivan's "Onward Christian Soldiers" played on a mighty sphincter resonating pipe organ of the kind that can only be made with the excess wealth of God's chosen country – America.

Check out the massive key change modulation in this arrangement – Praise Jesus!

        Hell's foundations quiver at the shout of praise;
brothers, lift your voices, loud your anthems raise.
        ...and get off my lawn

My parents took me to see E. Power Biggs play the Flentrop in Cambridge. I will never forget Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring. Today even Bach is verboten. Chris Montez is there this month.

What I don't like is that music it is a form of artistic expression and that is nearly always about what the person feels about the world.

It's pretty self centred to inflict their own personal feelings on (for example, me) when I don't give a monkey's about what you're going through (unless it's about you doing what it says in the Bible (KJV1611)) or I'm being paid to care.

            There, I've said it.

1 Corinthians 11:3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.

Revelation 22:15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

Leviticus 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
