At that point, you will know that your wife's role is to serve you, just as your role is to serve Jesus.

I guess my Christian church teaches something different then...

So what your beliefs are based on, is that God created human kind so that human kind may serve, obey and venerate God? What is the point of that? Does it not destroy the essence of God? God is almighty, God is everything, God is beyond all there is and God created everything... then why would God need to create a whole specie soley to venerate him and obey his word? Does that belief not simply reduce God to a being with human-like traits and characteristics? Thus making him less of a God?

How can God not be above such pathetic notions? Why then would God create us, if not because he needs us in some way? Because if he does not truly need us in that case, then that would reduce God to a materialistic being that does not truly represent the paragon of perfection our God is supposed to represent. If God DOES need us to venerate and obey his words, then the very notion of God being God colapses...

We base our beliefs on the God presented in His Word, the Holy Bible. Have you ever read it?
