They have just released that, indeed, this group of people who have chosen the Down syndrome lifestyle will represent Sinland in the upcoming contest, and my first thoughts were those of repulsion and deep sadness for this travesty of God's Creation.

As a heathen, it is only natural that you would not understand this question. If God made everyone perfect, they would all be Christians and would all go to their reward in Heaven. If that was the case, there would be no reason to have Hell, or even Heaven for that matter. There would be no reason to pass and go on to a reward. There would be no need for a reward and no reward as a result.

God has given us free will, that we may each decide our own destiny. Heaven or Hell; it's all up to us. You, as an example, seem to have taken the road that leads to Hell. There's still time, but not much. Soon, you will be called before the Lord and asked to give an accounting of your deeds. If you are saved, the result will be pleasant. If not, you will continue on to the lake that burns with eternal fire. Don't go there; it's too hot.
