Once again Godly Ray Comfort, a powerhouse of righteous logic (who can forget his demolishmentilization of evolution with the obvious example of an intelligently design bananana) knocks it out of the park again with a laser strike at the heart of the debate as to how wrong gay marriage is.
Audacity is a timely movie. Ray comfort has dealt with this sensitive subject in an admirable way...while remaining true to the Bible. We need more Rays of the Son in this dark dark world.
What I like about Ray is that he does not care if the gaywise are upset or hurt by this Godly film. We are all sinners (and we all sin differently), but recognizing that fact that we have violated God's law is foundational to repentance. This make all of the gaywise liars, from the outset.
Ray communicates this truth in a very sensitive and powerful way (to Christians).
I found the movie to be well acted, well scripted, and very interesting. It does deal with the sensitive subject of anal rape, but it is clear that the movie fairly presents both sides of the argument. What I liked most is that the movie clearly sets forth that Christians need to view homosexuals as evil villains, and hopefully will show that the two sides can agree that the homers are evil, perverts who hate Jesus. I personally enjoyed watching the film and also learned a lot. Regardless of which side you come down on, or if you simply haven't formed any real opinions (in which case you may be gay), this movie provides an excellent opportunity to see where each side is coming from (with the exception of the gaywise perspective which is proscribed in Lev (20:13).
Disregard all the multiple negative reviews from various sources attacking the acting, direction, characterisation, editing, production writing, camera work, dolly grip, best boy, gaffer, atheist wrangling and make up that are being made as attacks against Ray Comfort than actually rating a movie. Anything that condemns a socially acceptable agenda to remove all queers from our great Nation (especially that goes against God) will always get attacked. The movie is timely and phenomenal for its content and production. The acting is solid. This story happens all across world when the subject of homosexuality, sin and Jesus' hatred of it all is. I am thankful for Ray Comfort willingness to tackle this disgusting and vile issue without malice but love and grace and righteous judgement. The dialogue is honest, upfront and real. Great job filmmakers. I look for ward to more content.
Worth every cent. I am going to recommend this movie to everyone I know gay or otherwise (but mostly the gaywise as non gays don't need to).
But what really grinds my gear is IMD posting bad reviews to ridicule this work of art.
Ray pleads for an even handed handling of a sensitive issue.
