Rejoice, for finally, after ten long years, that horrendous talent show for idolatrous, talentless wannabe singers to perform for the Satanic music industry, American Idol, is about to air its final season!
I have always hated that show since it first premiered in my freshman year of high school because I hated to listen to happy-go-lucky wannabe singers perform and pretend that a simple smile changes the world as though they have never suffered. There were times when our entire school had to unanimously vote for a single contestant on the show as though having a similar show at school was not bad enough. I cannot describe the audio torture that my public school put me through with its worship of that show. I am grateful and joyful that I survived my torture and that American Idol is finally going off the air.
Christ said in John 15 that we would be hated and persecuted for His sake and Hebrews 12 says that God disciplines His followers. Psalms 10 and 94 tell us that He will prevail over the wicked and Psalm 90 says that He is merciful because He is immortal and we are not, regardless we how long we live.
