And indeed, no-one yet has ever managed to find such a thing. What does The Bible teach us?
Nahum 2:10 She is empty, and void, and waste: and the heart melteth, and the knees smite together, and much pain is in all loins, and the faces of them all gather blackness.
Characteristic of anyone within range of a dubstep event, yes, but God was describing a people dissipated to the utmost degree. Ruination was upon them just as today we see ruination heralded by melting hearts, smiting knees and pain in all the loins. Imagine two brothers' wives, perhaps rescued from Godlessness. One becoming intrigued whether there's "a Christian dubstep song" out there (there isn't) and even went looking for it? The other appreciating an opportunity for her children to be instructed in The Truth remained with her Husband's family, even though a night on the razzle was possible. Or nights.
Ruth 1:15-16 Behold, thy sister in law is gone back unto her people, and unto her gods: return thou after thy sister in law. And Ruth said, Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God.
Like Ruth we know that fulfilment does not lie in dubstep land. Trollop is about as good as it gets there and I won't elaborate on its lower castes but can that raucous din drown out the shame so deep within? No. That's why it's so loud. Ruth however was obedient and, since the harvest was going on, went down to assist.
Ruth 2:3 – 4:17
The result of that was King David: Ruth's son was David's grandfather. I have no idea what happened to her sister-in-law but in this thread you can read some of the confusion resulting from not taking The Bible at face value and Pastor has linked to the following chart where origins and outcomes are discussed.
The ancient equivalent of dubstep must have been just as dreadful as what we have today and none of it led anywhere beneficial. It is not necessary for Christians to reject the dub per se because no Christian would ever consider it in the first place. Hence we know that no such thing as "a Christian dubstep song" exists at all. If you think you've found one, you're mistaken. I hope that is helpful.
