Just gonna go ahead and say its absolutely sickening that you all dare trademark the title of true Christian. Very capitalistic. Secondly, I would like to point out how the quoted text completely contradicts the post it quotes. The original post shares several Bible verses basically summing up to being humble, then our friend Mary BOASTS about how she and her trademarked "true Christian" friends will become rulers of the Earth and exalted forever more. The fact that you don't even know the proper names for pretty much all the characters is proof enough that this is just wishful thinking. Just because Pharah (or according to this, Sarah) is Egyptian, that doesn't automatically mean that she is a terrorist. That is incredibly stereotypical of you. That is like saying every American is obese, or that Australians ride kangaroos everywhere. And the fact that you assume drugs are the cause for any way of increasing the power, or speed, or health of a character has no ground to stand on. I understand that your belief is that everyone should be Christian or go to hell, but you are forcing those beliefs onto these characters and the players of the game. How does forcing your beliefs make you any better than a cult? other religions (yes, other religions exist, shocking, I know) such as buddhism let you choose to believe, and if you don't, that's fine. Can't you see how something like that is more likely to be accepted by other people? Overwatch was created to be enjoyed by millions of people worldwide, nowhere does it say that you have to be a certain religion to play, or to be accepted in the community. It seems that you are just struggling to accept how the world is changing. P.S. Please don't reply saying that I obviously am going to go to hell for this, when you do it's blatantly obvious that you don't have an actual argument and are just trying to act superior to me, nowhere in the world is there proof that God and the Devil exist. I'm not saying that they don't, because there is no proof that they don't, but you're basing your beliefs on a book written thousands of years ago by people that were unbelievably primitive in their knowledge of how the world works compared to what we know now.

Oh my goodness you people cannot be serious.This is a video game. It's meant to entertain, as most movies do. Children play them for enjoyment and to speak to people across the world in a gesture of fun. This is reading in between lines that don't exist. This actually made me laugh, along with several others who have seen this thread.
Remember Pokemon? The game where you "catch little devil creatures" and such. Well, the POPE said himself that he does not believe the game is satanic, and is actually a good amount of fun for a child. You were wrong there, so I'd be very surprised if you weren't wrong here. This game, first of all, is rated T for Teen. If any child below the age of 13-14 (depending on where you see the teenage years start) is playing the game, they should not be. Now I'm going to assume your son is of age to be playing this game, and bought it with money of his own. Under such circumstances, you do not get to decide for him what is good or not good when he is both of the legal age to play the game and bought it himself. And threatening to assault your own son? Really? Question yourself, are you, and not as a man of God but a father, doing well by your son? From a legal standpoint, no. You want to harm him physically, and openly and disrespectfully bash his religious views? What kind of father are you? Let your kid have some freedom without you judging him and what he does. He's (I'm assuming since he should be of age to play the game) a teenager, the most influential and important years of his life. Allow him to live them how he wants within moral and legal boundaries. If he wants to play Overwatch, let him. I'm not saying there's nothing wrong with not liking the game, but disagree respectfully and not like some angry radical Christian. Be calm, rational, and respectful with your kid.
Side note: Overwatch would never actually get banned based on religious views. Too many people either like the game, have no issue with it, or disagree with Christian views to actually have it banned. But if you wanna believe that it'll happen, keep dreaming there buddy.

I have a slight problem with this forum as it the level of hypocrisy is amazing, you say that god created everyone equal and yet Christians (not all) treat people likes Jews and Buddhists like second class citizens. also if god gave it free will, yes free will breeds sin, but should that mean people are free to do as THEY want to as a person.


This forum promotes Racism, Antisemitism, and Sexism, this is why I have a problem you should not compare your selfs to the choices of others like jews who have committed their selfs to their religion.


another thing is that someone committing a sin does not give you the right to spread hate towards a religion, race or sex and I am sorry but in your bible, it says "For every man shall bear his own burden. —Galatians 6:2", a man bears his own burden, not you, so don't go against him


so my point is that I don't mean to offend the Christian religion but it places like this forum that is insane levels of hate towards people who make decisions that you don't like, I will stand by my argument.

Let me stop you right there Matt and ask for evidence that a True Christian(tm) has quoted the Holy Bible in saying that God created everyone equal. As the Holy Bible makes no such claim, you can be assured no True Christian(tm) has argued for such a point.
