Hmm. . . not to repeat what others have pointed out already, but we do understand the concept of a canon (spelled correctly) as the immutable, underlying basis for a system of beliefs, or to put it in more colloquial terms, the "official party line".


What you need to understand is that the only canon that concerns us is the Bible. The officially recognized canon for the game called "Overwatch" is of no interest to us whatsoever.


But while we are on the subject, I would like to examine your assertion that one "cannot blame a game for its fanbase" (spelled correctly.)


By this reasoning, I am wondering if you would agree to the statement that one cannot blame the Bible for the believers who constitute its "fanbase"?

Hello, I see this post about the character 'Reinhardt' and which I think you put it all wrongly and just think of something that relates to nothing that the game is trying to potray.

What Overwatch is:

The Overwatch origanization is a team that was made to put down the Onmic Crisis, and Omnics were built by humans like machines for war, like the character Bastion, he is an Onmic and the last Bastion. Zenyatta is a peace spreading Onmic, wanting Onmic rights, like Human rights.

Reinhardt Origin:

Now to get onto my point. Reinhardt was apart of the Crusaders, modern knights in Germany. Reinhardt is a modern aged Knight, and the crusaders wielded 'Rocket Hammers' a big hammer with rockets attached to make it hit harder. There are no sexual remarks made about this. His shield is a shield, stop it at that, not an imagery for a condom. It is a shield, like how knights carried a shield into battle. He is his teammates shield, and every shield will break, so it has to recharge. His armour is not a BDSM suit, it is armour, just armour with rockets propelled to the back so he can charge into battle.

His qoute "I am on Fire!" is what happens after you do well in the game, every character will have their own dialouge about doing well, there is a bar near the characters health bar that shows this.

He also has a woman following him around, named Brigitte, however is younger than him, maybe in her late 20s or early 30s, and they show no sexual connection.

I take it that the Overwatch is some sort of computer game. Well, it's not the sort of thing I'd want to see on my device. From the remarks of game proponents it seems to be associated with heretical ideas such as "everyone sins every day" or "it's natural for humans to [insert sin-of-choice]" and so on.

That distinguishes false "christians" from True Christians who actually understand the source material because we have read it. There is only one source for the teachings of Jesus. There is only one source explaining why Jesus was necessary. Claims in the Upanishads are irrelevant. The Koran is irrelevant. The Avesta, irrelevant. There are probably people who take inspiration from cave paintings done by savages in France. These are irrelevant.

The Bible, the only source for Jesus, is very clear. Christians do not sin and it is impossible for any True Christian to sin.

These other texts (or cave paintings) are in fact very harmful because they offer a different paradigm for belief. They contradict The Bible, suggest different forms of morality, advocate idolatry or fire worship and are therefore evil. Games acknowledging such alternative paradigms are therefore also evil. God sees idolatry as a form of prostitution. Would you buy a game in which the players had to be harlots with different "skill sets" catering to clients with varying expectations and realistic graphics?

Saying "oh get real it's only a game" won't cut the mustard with God. How would you feel if Jesus knocked on your door just as your family members were shouting "Hey! Hey! Hey! "Marcy" is Mercy, whose character design is more remnant of a Valkyrie.
"Sin town" is Winston (a common American name, and a name that is actually the name of his adopted father who was killed in an accident on the moon, that the young gorilla took up in honor of)
"Creeper" is Reaper, and he is by far the most unholy of characters, via REAPping the souls of those he kills while going into Wraith Form to catch people by surprise.
"Darya" is Zarya, and she is a weightlifter who hates omnics because they destroyed her home town.
"Junked Rat" is Junkrat, who was part of a rebel force that rose above the Omnic armada and defended Australia.
"Toad Hog" is Roadhog, a very overweight mad who is, actually, a hired bodyguard
"Sinnetra" is Symmetra, and while she represents another religion, further research reveals that said religions don't like her custom option for Goddess because it is not accurately displayed. And no, the teleporter does not take you into hell. It is point A to point B, and thinking otherwise makes me think you are the "vaccinated" autistic.
"Benji Shimada" is Genji Shimada, and I am surprised you somehow got his last name right. Genji is no less that a normal man with prosthetics, they are just advanced prosthetics. But if you are objective, you soon realize you only believe in those thing because your parents or someone else close to you did. You can follow whatever feith you want, but do not think yours is better because it´s yours or because it´s more spread. Buddhists believe in not looking for a god, but for inner peace and knowledge, in knowing and loving that and those around you.
