My good friend dotty I have to tell you that these Baptists are not discussing video games. Very many people come to the site of these white people to try to talk to them about video games but they just tell them they are going to go to the white hell. What they do is to warn each other of dangers to their children. I myself play video games when I am permitted the time between my studies and my job in community organizing. I like to plug in the game and light up a large spliff. That is even legal in several American states. Is that what you do?

Well maybe if they actually researched the games they are warning each other about maybe less gamers would come here cause I only came here to stop Overwatch from getting banned

Dear, you cannot be this dumb. The entire purpose of this community is to set in motion the Great Commission given by our Spiritual Commander in Chief, Christ Jesus (Matthew 28:18-20). This includes, but is not limited to, keeping current with modern culture. Including games.

Those countries of which you speak are not innocent and no-one that lives there is innocent. If the were a majority of True Christians it would be another matter altogether. The subject of this thread is about how a video game fits into the True™ Purpose of humanity's existence in relation to God. That's the over-arching theme of the Bible. And that is what we discuss here.


As has been mentioned before, there are many, many threads on this forum that deal with a number of issues and how a True Christian™ Bible-believer should deal with them. Counter-claims and criticism are leveled at us all the time. Our response is always to go back to the source of our virtual substance--God's Word.


What continually amazes me is how little the keyboard warriors who lay siege to our sanctuary care about those other issues. These include subjects such as the buying and selling of human beings, proper punishment for rape "victims" and whether there will ever be a legal landscape where homosexuals will once more be stoned to death in accordance with the Lord's Holy Law.


Those issues are of little concern to the gaming community. As long as they have unfettered access to their games and everybody loves and agrees with their game and has exact, detailed knowledge of the game lore, they will rest easy on their lumpy laurels. But if someone offers a different interpretation of some backstory to a favored character, well then! Offense is taken and heads must roll.


You know, as a True Christian™ member of the Landover Baptist Church forum, my official position is to disparage the many protesters who flout the authority of our godly President. But at least those people are getting some fresh air as they air their grievances. They may be completely wrongheaded, but they care about real world issues.


Gamers care more about their two dimensional world of computer generated images than the physical and social world around us.
They really could just watch it all go to hell without lifting a finger off their gaming consoles.

All of this is based on pure stereotypes on your part. And this isn't "gossip" or anything of the sort. I saw the exact moment where you were beginning to create stereotypes in your mind in this topic.


Your reply just now is about the gaming community. My reply is to this. I shouldn't expect to receive any warnings or anything of the sort. If I'm warned about "not following the TRUE purpose of these forums", it's only fair you're warned as well. This is basic logic and it's only fair.
