Well the main reason people want to leave Mexico is so that they can earn more money as they don't earn a lot in Mexico, the jobs they are supposedly "stealing" are labour jobs e.g farmers

Any chance you could fly to Peru for a few days? Some of us guys are here ministering to the messicans. We might need you.

I think you misunderstood my point. It is the fact THAT they want to leave which makes us realise how detrimental their presence must be. I don't care what the reason is. It's their home, the nation built up by their joint endeavours over centuries with sacrifices made to fulfil their hopes for future generations, the land of their hearts and dreams and all they wanna do is get outa there. They don't care how.

I have also been in places I don't wish to be. They are dreadful. It doesn't matter why they're dreadful. The fact that it IS dreadful is enough for you to know that whatever produced the pit it is is not anything you'd want to import. It could be a philosophy. It could be some crazy economic theory. It could be rampant plague or general insanity or flying scorpions. The salient feature is I just wanna leave and so I do.

Now you may say "Oh, you just have different values." Yes, I do. Very different. The nation I would build with sacrifices made to fulfil my hopes for future generations, the land of my heart and dreams would be nothing like the 4th world maelstrom of despair and rotting vegetation I'd landed in by going to the airport and buying a ticket to wherever the next flight was going to. Sometimes you finish up somewhere quite nice. More often it's the flying scorpions, general insanity & crazy economic theory. Not my values, dear, not at all.

Here's the point. It IS their values. Their values at work. This is what their values produce. By my standard a total fail. In Mexico it must also be a total fail BY THEIR OWN CRITERIA because all they wanna do is get outa the joint. Values having such a negative outcome are not something I'd want contaminating anywhere I'd live thank you.

          Perhaps you're different?

This movie likely didn't start as a anti-Trump movie. Disney/Pixar likely turned it into an anti-Trump movie when they knew Trump would win.

We bleed small goats over fresh, newborn babies and then put them on the BBQ to cook while we look for rotten eggs in the rectory back yard to throw at Catholics.

Just what did you think Christians do on Easter?
Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

The goats, babies, BBQ and rotten egg references were facetious.

The majority of the self-identified Christians mix the unfortunate pagan practice of colored eggs and chocolate bunnies in with an early morning church visit to acknowledge Jesus' resurrection.

As careful Bible readers who know the Truth(tm), we do NOT mix pagan, secular practices with church attendance and prayer.

We know that if someone takes the Bible as seriously as they claim to, that they would never, never play around with baskets and fake grasses on the observance of God's fulfilled promise through Christ.

That statement, by the way, is no joke. The majority of all those self-identified Christians have no idea of all far off base they are in their celebration of Easter.

Oh, Sister Mary, I just now realized that I'm not sure if you meant that the goats or the babies are to be roasted over the BBQ. One wouldn't want to mix up an important detail like that when deliberately misrepresenting a major religion.

Dotty, I have heard of some neurological conditions that render a person unable to discern sarcasm or irony. Has anyone in your life ever indicated that you tend to miss certain nuances in conversations?

It might be worth looking into. I would hate for you to miss out on so many things that life has to offer. My first inkling of irony came to me within seconds of understanding human speech. I didn't have the vocabulary word for the concept, of course, but I grasped the humor of the situation.

A sense of irony, whimsy and humor can be such a blessing. Those things, and a thorough understanding of the Bible have helped me through some difficult times.
