  • List of gun-owning musicians

No rap please - this thread is for musicians who legally own their guns. Also, the point of this list is to inspire the kids who will defend against school shootings - not the kinds of kids who commit them.

I remember in the 90's there was a nice upbeat group with a lead singer named Kirk or Corbyn or something like that. I think he was blackballed by the industry for being a gun-owner, because once we heard about his gun, he's not made any new songs.

If you know any millennials/kids of the 90's, make them listen to this:

Hard to follow the lyrics, but I get the last line: he's shouting "Ammo now! Ammo now!"

I believe Phil Spector had a armoury, didnt he shoot a poor waitress?
No spoose should be more attractive than the other - that way, no one is satisfied, and the marriage can be happy.

Ted Nugent..A prince among men. My favorite gun-owning musician...but for some strange reason banned fans from carrying guns at a concert in Virginia.

      Bob Marley
      Elvis Presley
      Ray Charles
      Stevie Wonder
Marvin Gaye..gave the gun to his father..bad idea
      Del Shannon

Just a few that come to mind

58 If thou wilt not observe to do all the words of this law that are written in this book, that thou mayest fear this glorious and fearful name, THE LORD THY GOD; 59 Then the LORD will make thy plagues wonderful, and the plagues of thy seed, even great plagues, and of long continuance, and sore sicknesses, and of long continuance. 60 Moreover he will bring upon thee all the diseases of Egypt, which thou wast afraid of; and they shall cleave unto thee. 61 Also every sickness, and every plague, which is not written in the book of this law, them will the LORD bringk upon thee, until thou be destroyed.

Brother Jeb, I think you're mistaken. Kurt Cocaine didn't own a gun. He's pretty clear on that point in this song:

It's a shame he hasn't put out any new music since the dark days of the Clinton administration. When's the last time you heard any of today's musicians sing about damnation and hellfire?

Most outlaw country singers have owned guns, such as Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Johnny Rebel, Hank Williams Jr., and David Allen Coe. Not that limp-wristed, ginger-braided, hippie dopehead Willie Nelson though.

Pantera guitarist Dimebag Darrell, responsible for the most hardcore "heavy metal" moment in all of music history when he was shot dead on stage, also owned guns, but he didn't have one on him at the time, and was unable to defend himself.

Charles Manson was also known to own guns, and he sang a bunch of hippie crap.

I was sinking deep in sin far from the peaceful shore,
          Very deeply stained within, sinking to rise no more;
But the Master of the Sea heard my despairing cry,
From the waters lifted me, now safe am I!

I don't know if he owns them, but he understands their utility:

Kurt? Yes. Or better said, no thanks. That's music? To me it's just pointless screaming. Did he attack the satanic music industry and was that the reason why he died? Perhaps. He may have been another sacrifice of the Tavistock like so many singers who died at age 27. If he however really owned a gun, then I may change my mind on him.

About Johnny Cash I'm not surprised, since he was such a cool dude. Johnny Rebel was miles better tho.
