So I read this entire forum before posting, and did not find any convincing evidence that video games are satanic.

I'm not surprised, dear. People whose hearts are closed to God's Message of Conditional Love will find the whole thing absurd, ridiculous, a buffoonery of logic and justice, if you will (Matthew 13:22; 1 Corinthians 1:18; 23; 1 Corinthians 2:14). That is to say, without True Faith™, interpreting our modern world in light of the Holy Word of God, any Biblical interpretation is mere gobbledygook, foolishness, some might even say an exercise in spiritual egomasturbatory drivel (1 Corinthians 2:14). This is how you're looking at the scenario, through the lens of a spiritual egomasturbatory addict. Can you really understand anything with your mind so perversely distracted?

The Holy Word warns us to be prepared, to be able to present ourselves to Jesus as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, and who correctly handles the word of truth (2 Timothy 2:15). We do this or one reason and one reason only - to avoid Eternal Damnation (Matthew 13:42; Matthew 24:51; Revelation 14:19-20; Revelation 20:15)! How can we know how to worship a Perfect God if we are not perfect ourselves, and cannot conceive of perfect solutions to problems created 6000 years ago? We trust Jesus to say what He means, and mean what He says in the King James Bible. By knowing how to interpret the Holy Word of God, by knowing how to use it as a guide to avoid the pitfalls of Satan, the god of this world (Ephesians 2:2; 2 Corinthians 4:4; 2 Timothy 2:26), we can avoid Eternal Damnation.

This entire thread, nay, this entire Body of Christ exists to share the Good News that Christ will send each and every soul, man, woman, child, retard, cripple, president, artist, mother, and peasant to suffer for all time under the cruel actions of Satan and his demons unless they are Saved (John 3:18)!

I want to encourage you to confess your sins to Christ, accept the stories in the Bible about Him ( Old and New Testaments), and put your trust in Him (Romans 10:9). Then when you read warnings, like those about video games and their Satanic nature, it will all make sense! You won't have to struggle with the mental gymnastics of the unregenerated soul, you won't have to struggle with anything mental again! You can simply trust the Holy Bible to guide you! Easy Peasy Rice and Cheesy!

Friend, you are clearly jumping to the conclusion that the effect is the cause. That is quite backward. Surely, even an unsaved wretch can see that. Can you not see that the playing of these satanic games leads to satanic possession and then to demonic acts? It is cause that leads to effect, not effect that leads to cause. I hope this has been helpful.


Now then, let's get on with your introduction. Please do that in the part of the forum conveniently labeled as the introduction forum. Tell us how you found Jesus, your Pastor's name, your congregation, the area in which you reside and such other information that may be useful, that we may know you.

untreated:not given medical care
mental: of or relating to the mind
disorders:disruption of normal functions; abnormal condition

I fear you continue to miss the point. This site is not devoted to your opinions. It doesn't even exist for the good folk of Landover Baptist Church to voice their opinions.


This site, this forum, all these threads are dedicated to shouting to the world in a loud, clear voice, " Read the Bible for yourself, people! It's the only way to the Truth™."


We want you to read the Bible as we have and then consider the required commitment it takes to follow its every word, just as God commands. When you have done that, our discussions here will take on a whole new dimension.


You won't be fussing about video games and other trivial concerns, because you will want the whole world to know the Truth™ about , just as we do.


Helping the world escape the confusion about living a Christ-centered life and worrying all the time about going to hell is a noble goal. It's far more worthy than rescuing a pixelated princess from an Italian plumber. Isn't that one of those alarmingly violent video games that the kids are all caught up with these days?


So, please, set aside your anger at us and join us in our anger which we direct at everyone out there who refuses to acknowledge the Truth™ about the true Word of God.

However, if you want to actually be my friend, you have to be tolerant of other cultures and lifestyles. I don't really get the feeling that this site has many people like that...

The Lord willing, your contribution will be the final crack in some heathen's foundation of sin and rebellion, they'll recognize how foolish, and frankly ridiculous, their own lives are, and will beg Christ's forgiveness for having wasted so much oxygen lo these many years.

If you are referring to Salvation™, it is because our church is the only one with Christ ordained pastors who can guarantee it! You see, anyone semi familiar with the Holy Bible and a love for being treated like a local celebrity can stand on at a podium and tell people what to do. It should come as no surprise that the clergy attracts psycopaths more than most other professions. The difference is that Landover Baptist Church is Jesus' own personal favorite church because we preach the Holy Bible. Every. Single. Word, and we make no apology for that. We know the Word of God means what It says an says what It means, and therefore can be trusted to be followed for the sake of Salvation (2 Timothy 3:16).

Please back away slowly from this thread and cursor up the screen to the "Jesus is xenophobic and so should we" thread. It is chock full of Biblical goodness about the concept of tolerance.


And one more time I will point out that this is a forum created for the edification of Bible-believers. We allow those who have questions about the Bible as long as they are willing to read and discuss the Bible.


You want to learn about other cultures and lifestyles, go to the National Geographic website. (Though, I hear that they have been known to feature naked brown people in their magazine.) Here, you can learn about the culture of Bible Times™.


Back in the good old days, when people from other cultures were wiped out with the sword and their lands were appropriated without a lot of unnecessary "white guilt". It was a glorious time when people knew without question that God was real and in charge and did what He asked without really asking questions.


It was a time when witches weren't allowed to live, men who lay with other men were readily condemned and a man could pay a fair price for a virgin bride, and if she wasn't a virgin, the "refund" would come in the form of stoning her to death.


I especially like the fact that women knew their place. None of this nonsense where a woman could tell a man what to do, or try to instruct him about God's Word. If you don't know what I'm talking about, read the Bible. You're gonna LOVE the Pauline writings!

So I'm wrong about this site allowing me to express my opinion. Sorry, it just seemed like it. It's just that everyone here has the same opinion: that video games are satanic. Btw, this forum does not shout "Read the Bible for yourself, people! It's the only way to the Truth™" to me (I like how you guys are separating your Truth (TM) from the truth, btw). It says "We are going to tell you exactly what to believe, then make you read the Bible to get to the Truth (TM). If you don't listen, you shall burn in hell!"


As for my anger, I do not intend to come across angry. Whenever someone contradicts me without solid evidence, I tend become annoyed. When it's about one of my favorite pastimes, I become even more annoyed.


One last thing. The game you're talking about is called Mario. You play as an Italian plumber going to save a princess who was kidnapped. I cannot sit here and say it is not violent at all, because I can't. However, in no universe could it possibly cause someone to commit a mass murder. Please, do at least a bit of research on a topic before arguing about said topic
