I did bought the Icelandic and the origionally lazy town and i still own it for my 5 kids i have. There are adults in all acting roles and no puppet and no young girl. When the author magnús scheving wanted to move he´s idea of this show for America the American TV station demanded that it would be changed to put a young girl in that role and add puppets, yes it is your idea not ours. Beside i liked the Icelandic version much better than the american puppets and young girl hopping around. And it is much funnier.

So the original show did not have girls dressed like whores? I think it's less important who is to blame for the details. E.g. the girl is an American so if you like to blame Americans there is opportunity enough. We are used to getting blamed anyway. What is important is to keep this filt away from our children. And no matter how you twist it, it's an Icelandic show and everyone in Iceland should be ashamed about that.

This is not what the original Lazy Town was like, about 10 years ago.
It was not until we wanted to sell this to other countries that we realized that we had to "Americanize" it first.
