Dick Van Dyke Turns 100! (Wish this post were in the Hell Train Thread.)

With a name like "Dick Van Dyke" you would expect a sinful lifestyle and this actor/dancer is no exception. I don't know why The Good Lord has let him live this long, but it's not my place to question The Almighty.



Among his other sins, I understand his attempt at an English accent in the movie, Mary Poppins, was pretty awful. Of course, if the producers of the movie had made the sensible choice to set the movie's story in America, that would not have been a problem.

Anyway, I think that we need to pray that Jesus makes an example of this disreputable fellow from Hellywood. Given his age, it's not as if it would be that difficult for The Lord to take him out.

Perhaps The Lord is letting him live long enough to see WWIII and will have a Lordly laugh watching the old geezer try and tap dance his way out of war.
