Or you could decide to defend yourself, instead of idly sit there in front of your computer screen as your ideals and opinions are ripped to shreds.

Oh, and Jim Morrison didn't play guitar. Robby Krieger did. But I'm sure you've never heard of him.

How about we drop a fantastic quote from Jim Morrison right here, so you can see how brilliant this man was. The snake did not represent the devil, it represented the human consciousness. He did not promote the devil, like you idiots are insinuating, he merely elaborated on lizard as a symbolic metaphor to life, the human mindset and the way that we approach life as a whole.

    ---
Let's just say I was testing the bounds of reality. I was curious to see what would happen. That's all it was: curiosity.

I think the highest and lowest points are the important ones. Anything else is just...in between. I want the freedom to try everything.

The most important kind of freedom is to be what you really are. You trade in your reality for a role. You trade in your sense for an act. You give up your ability to feel, and in exchange, put on a mask. There can't be any large-scale revolution until there's a personal revolution, on and individual level. It's got to happen inside first. You can take away a man's political freedom and you won't hurt him- unless you take away his freedom to feel. That can destroy him. That kind of freedom can't be granted. Nobody can win it for you.

That's what real love amounts to- letting a person be what he really is. Most people love you for who you pretend to be. To keep their love, you keep pretending- performing. You get to love your pretence. It's true, we're locked in an image, an act- and the sad thing is, people get so used to their image, they grow attached to their masks. They love their chains. They forget all about who they really are. And if you try to remind them, they hate you for it, they feel like you're trying to steal their most precious possession.

People are afraid of themselves, of their own reality; their feelings most of all. People talk about how great love is, but that's bullshit. Love hurts. Feelings are disturbing. People are taught that pain is evil and dangerous. How can they deal with love if they're afraid to feel? Pain is meant to wake us up. People try to hide their pain. But they're wrong. Pain is something to carry, like a radio. You feel your strength in the experience of pain. It's all in how you carry it. That's what matters. Pain is a feeling. Your feelings are a part of you. Your own reality. If you feel ashamed of them, and hide them, you're letting society destroy your reality. You should stand up for your right to feel your pain.

I've always liked reptiles. I used to see the universe as a mammoth snake, and I used to see all the people and objects, landscapes, as little pictures in the facets of their scales. I think peristaltic motion is the basic life movement. Swallowing, digestion, the rhythms of sexual intercourse. We must not forget that the lizard and the snake are identified with the unconscious, with the forces of evil. There's some- thing deep in the human memory that reacts very strongly to reptiles. Even if you've never seen one, the snake embodies everything we fear.

A hero is someone who rebels or seems to rebel against the facts of existence and seems to conquer them. Obviously that can only work at moments. It can't be a lasting thing. That's not saying that people shouldn't keep trying to rebel against the facts of existence. Someday, who knows, we might conquer death, disease and war.

A friend is someone who lets you have total freedom to be yourself.

He is renown as the greatest writer in American Rock history, and at the top of the charts of the best performing vocalist who ever lived. You? You're on an internet forum spreading hate.

Jim Morrison was a poet. He was never originally interested in singing, he just wanted to write. He did not ask to become such a symbol, he was modest above all things. You? You're looking for recognition.

His lifestyle was one of adventure. He wanted to get the most out of life, and you have a problem with that why? He lived 40 years ago, and he died a tragic death, along with many other artists of his day, including Hendrix and Joplin.

He was different; that's all it comes down to. He wasn't satanic. He wasn't evil. He lived a different lifestyle than you, and you will readily attack a man because he lived his life differently than you did.

Stay away from Jim Morrison and give the man some respect.

Jim Morrison's dead and he's in hell. That's why he's featured in the summer concerts in hell series. He often referred to himself as the “Lizard King” from his epic poem “Celebration of the Lizard”. Another reference to the Devil.

The Doors: Jim Morrison's gateway to Hell

"People lost their virginity to this music, got high for the first time to this music. I've had people say kids died in Vietnam listening to this music..." - John Densmore, Doors drummer

Dear Brothers in Sisters in Christ,

The Doors. An apt name for one of the most Satanic groups in rock 'n roll history, for weren't they the "doors" to Satan? Their name actually does indeed come from a Satanic influence, that of psychedelic bum Aldous Huxley and demon-possessed William Blake who once wrote "If the doors of perception were cleansed, every thing would appear to man as it is: infinite". Obviously this absurd statment could only come from somebody under the influence of opium.

Next, we look at the frontman of this group, the infamous Jim Morrison. Here's just a brief biography so that you can understand this seductive Satanic singer.
    • Got a degree from UCLA in Film Studies. (extremist liberal)
    • Drug addict that used LSD for "inspiration".
    • Notorious alcoholic
    • Arrested in Miami in 1970 for indecent exposure.
    • "Married" Patricia Kennealy in a Satanic vampire ceremony. Watch Oliver Stone's 1991 film "The Doors" for a recreation of these events.
    • Died of a heroin overdose

As you can see this man walked hand-in-hand with Satan throughout his life. No doubt he died unsaved and is writhing in agony in the deepest pits of Hell. Praise Jesus!

Lastly, we turn our prying eyes over to their cryptic and demonically inspired lyrics. We can see what words Morrison was trying to seduce our nation's youth with. One of the best songs that shows Jim Morrison's mindset is "The End" from their eponymous 1967 debut album.

    From "The End"
Ride the snake, ride the snake
To the lake, the ancient lake, baby
The snake is long, seven miles
Ride the snake...he's old, and his skin is cold

(Clearly this is a metaphor for the serpent in Genesis! And you ride the snake to the lake...of fire)

The killer awoke before dawn, he put his boots on
He took a face from the ancient gallery
And he walked on down the hall
He went into the room where his sister lived, and...then he
Paid a visit to his brother, and then he
He walked on down the hall, and
And he came to a door...and he looked inside
Father, yes son, I want to kill you
    Mother...I want to...**** you

I wonder how many family murders were committed by people who have listened to this song? The Menendez Brothers? What about the DeFeo case behind the Amityville Horror? Jim Morrison is telling malleable youth that it is okay to kill your fathers and commit disgusting fornication with their own mothers!

Kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill

    This is the end
    Beautiful friend
    This is the end
    My only friend, the end

Self-explanatory. Morrison commanding his followers to kill, kill, kill. The whole song revolves around the theme of the end, which is death.

What about other songs? What do they promote?
    • Light My Fire: Talking about the fires of Hell.
    • The Crystal Ship: A song about crystal meth, hence the title.
    • Touch Me: Promoting fornication.
    • Not to Touch the Earth: A psychedelic whirlwind of Morrison's drug-addled mind.
    • Five to One: Encourages youthful rebellion against the establishment.
    • Crawling King Snake: Morrison experiments with doing negro music.
    • Back Door Man: A song glorifying adultery. Also sodomy, hence the title.
    • Alabama Song (Whisky Bar): Promoting alcohol abuse.
So my brothers and sisters in Christ, I urge you to confiscate any Doors albums you find that belong to family members or friends and give them a strict lecture on the Satanism behind this group. Every single True Christian(tm) person needs to seperate themselves from the Doors and other Satanic influence. The apostle Paul wrote...

2nd Corinthians 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
2nd Corinthians 6:15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
2nd Corinthians 6:16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
2nd Corinthians 6:17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,
What fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? What communion hath light with darkness? The Bible makes it clear why Doors albums should be burned and destroyed. I urge every single one of you respectable members of this church and society to write to your local stores (Best Buy, Target, Wal-Mart, etc.) and demand they take Doors albums off the shelves. Even though Jim Morrison died 38 years ago, his legacy still lives on and Doors music keeps selling.

Light my fire. And throw Doors albums into it!

    Yours in Christ,

    Rev. Jim Osborne
