No scientific (oh wait, you don't believe in science, just like dinosaurs aren't real, right?) proof has been shown that games affect the human psyche. It can make you less prone to disgust from violence, but nothing corrupting. I play videogames on a daily, Fallout 3 included. I never want to kill anyone or steal people's things. The game is enjoyable, because I can act out whatever I want in a fantasy world where my psyche isn't affected, and my physical being isn't affected.

The so-called "true christians" are nothing but idiots. Please, for the sake of humanity, do NOT, under any circumstance, have children.

Because that doesn't make any logical sense. It makes much more sense to recognize a compilation of books written by dozens of unrelated people who lived hundreds of miles away from each other, thousands of years apart, and yet carry one flawless, perfectly consistent message is the work of a perfect, being than to believe it's all a coincidence.

As a proud LaVeyan Satanist, I can safely say that none of the qualities shown in this game promote Satanism. I have good reason to believe that most of the people at Bethesda Softworks are, in fact, God-fearing citizens of the United States that enjoy making video games for a living.

Given the fact that the setting of Fallout 3 is a post-apocalyptic world, most of the violent and sinful activities that go on in this game can only be expected. In a post-apocalyptic world, there WILL be violence. There will be drugs, there will be killing, there will be rape, there will be beings mutated by radiation, and there will be children running rampant because there is no adults to control them.

I, for one, have played Fallout 3, and chose the option to be a good person by only killing those who assault me first (raiders, feral ghouls, super mutants, the Enclave, and deathclaws are among those who attack on sight). I did not blow up Megaton. I destroyed the bigots in Tenpenny Tower and I destroyed the slave paradise, Paradise Falls, and released the slaves. I restored the Lincoln Memorial to its former glory and cleansed a town of deathclaws. The game may seem terribly Satanic, but I can assure you all, that is what would happen in a post-apocalyptic situation.

Satanism is all about respect and indulgence. Do what makes you happy, respect everybody, but don't turn the other cheek if hurt.
