First of all, Green Day (TWO WORDS) is NOT a heavy metal band. They never have been. They started off as pure punk, recording their first album in approximately 22 hours (1,039/Smoothed Out Slappy Hours). They are not a 'new' band, having started their first band 'Sweet Children' in 1986, at the age of 14. The song 'Christian's Inferno' is a part of their second rock opera, '21st Century Breakdown' which tells the story of a girl, Gloria (hence the song ¡Viva la Gloria!) and CHRISTIAN (Hence the song 'Christian's Inferno'). They are not metal, and they have drifted away from punk. It is all now stripped down Rock 'n' Roll. They are not satanic in any way. See, being a liberal band, they wrote their hit album 'American Idiot' in the midst of Bush's term, and they had the right to. 'American Idiot' does not state that Americans are unintelligent, but rather that a select few can be. 'Jesus of Suburbia' tells us of what happens within the underbelly of our country. How there are people out there who have not found God, and how not all people agree. The album tells the story of two people, much like '21st Century Breakdown', but 'American Idiot' takes place during the climax of the war in Iraq, causing several of the characters' friends to join the military for a war that made no sense. Green Day (still, two words) IS NOT and NEVER HAS BEEN satanic. They sing songs of hope, of strength, of freedom amongst youth. Give your children a little room to breathe. You aren't your child. Give them a chance to learn what goes on for themselves. Green Day is a band in which EVERY MEMBER is a Christian, including 'The Big Three', which consists of Jason White, Jason Freese, and Jeff Matika. People, do your research before you make arguments you can't back up. Learn about what others know more than you about. Let's see how many failed arguments against this I get.

Friend, Greensday does not promote God and the Bible. They just scream (like all heavy metal death bands) about how crazy they are. Did you ever stop for a moment and realize that that they are crazy because they do not have enough Jesus in their pitiful lives?

I am certain I saw this gang of ruffians in a documentary about satanic music infecting the youth with dangerous ideas, that is, dangerous from a spiritual point of view. There is no need to go into the well proven fact that this kind of music can cause deafness.

These wretches in question had a singer who was wearing black eye shadow or black eye liner or what ever they want to call it, even though he was a man and not a painted trollop. I am uncertain as to whether he was actually a cross dresser, as the documentary did not make that point clear.

The man was singing about a shadow walking beside him. I found that very ominous. I walk with Jesus, myself. No dark shadow figures better come around me. Like many Christians of my generation, I prefer a large caliber revolver, as they always shoot, with no excuses, when it becomes necessary to exercise godly self defense, especially when demonic wraiths are involved.

Also, I don't see why this topic has attracted so many unsaved foreigners. One is Scot. They are always drunk on that whiskey they make and, worse, largely in the secret pay of the English. In addition, there is one of those Volvo driving, sexual libertine Swedes who inflicted ABBA on us. God will never forgive them for that. Where do they get the nerve to rebuke God fearing, saved Christians?

I believe that we should ignore the rants of unsaved foreigners and also try to catch those Green Days the next time they have a show. Maybe we could bring them to Jesus. I think that would please God.

In the meantime there are fully 150 Psalms available to recite, or to sing, and if more were necessary for a lifetime of praising Jesus more would heve been supplied. Not by some cynical wordsmith. By God.

There are also hymnals available but be careful: many contain heretical doctrine. Never use one with words like Methodist, Congregational, Unitarian (if they have hymn books), Spiritualist (same as Unitarians, but they might have stuff I suppose), Anglican, Catholic, Orthodox, Presbyterian, "alternative" or "modern" on the cover. Many of these things come with brightly coloured harlots depicted waving their arms in the air. Just like in the mosh pit.

Whether it's the mass or a Greendays' song sung from the pulpit really doesn't matter.
