It is un-christian of people to force beliefs onto others, bully those who do not agree and to condemn and slander those who are not of your following. There are many beliefs out there, not all believe in OUR god, Islam sees a prophet, Pagan does not see him.

Remember that the Roman church changed Pagan celebrations into that of christian ones, so that we would remember, for example - Christmas - 'birth of the son god', changed to 'the son of god'.............I am not small minded to understand that FACT. The Romans and prior were very good at documenting back then. 'Searaching for spirits' is not a new age concept, it was going on long before Jesus walked the earth.

Cathlicks aren't Christians but by the sounds of it, at least SOME of them (namely you) appear to be witches. You are certainly trying to defend them.

Why are you a mary worshipping idolater?

Re: Ghost Hunters: Paranormal Investigators Promote Witchcraft

Lets take into account that the King aJaes 2nd bible was a 3rd translation. which was written to confirm the ecclesiology and episcopalm ways of hte church of england, thus straying from the original paths. It differs from it's 1st translation of the great bible.

So let us take this step-by-step, so that we are not making a mockery (considering that is against the christian religon, thus not making us christian, hint there)

First, the Church forbids (I wouldn't strain too much on that word, considering certain branches in the vatican deal with spiritual sides) us to call up the dead (Catechism 2116-2117). There is a book by Peter Kreeft called Everything You Ever Wanted To Know About Heaven, he says that the reason for “this stricture is probably protection against the danger of deception by evil spirits. We are out of our depth, our knowledge, and our control once we open the doors to the supernatural. The only openings that are safe for us are the ones God has approved: revelation, prayer, His own miracles, sacraments, and primarily Christ Himself…The danger is not physical but spiritual, and spiritual danger always centers on deception.”

“Nevertheless, without our action or invitation, the dead often do appear to the living. There is enormous evidence of “ghosts” in all cultures. What are we to make of them?” He goes on to say “We can distinguish three kinds of ghosts, I believe. First, the most familiar kind: the sad ones, the wispy ones. They seem to be working out some unfinished earthly business, or suffering some purgatorial purification until released from their earthly business. These ghosts would seem to be the ones who just barely made it to Purgatory, who feel little or no joy yet and who need to learn many painful lessons about their past lives on earth.

Second, there are deceptive spirits, a spirit does not change it's ways from life, when it passes over and since they are deceptive, they hardly ever appear malicious. These are mostly the ones who respond to conjurings at seances. They probably come from a more hotter climate . Even the chance of that happening should be sufficient to terrify away all temptations to necromancy."

"Third, there are bright, happy spirits of dead friends and family, especially spouses, who appear unbidden, at God's will, not ours, with messages of hope and love. They seem to come from Heaven. Unlike the purgatorial ghosts who come back primarily for their own sakes, these bright spirits come back for the sake of us the living, to tell us all is well. They are aped by evil spirits who say the same, who speak 'peace, peace, when there is no peace'. But the deception works only one way: the fake can deceive by appearing genuine, but the genuine never deceives by appearing fake."

“That there are all three kinds of ghosts is enormously likely. Even taking into account our penchant to deceive and be deceived, our credulity and fakery, there remain so many trustworthy accounts of all three types of ghosts - trustworthy by every ordinary empirical and psychological standard - that only a dogmatic prejudice against them could prevent us from believing they exist. As Chesterton says, 'We believe an old apple woman when she says she ate an apple; but when she says she saw a ghost, we say 'But she's only an old apple woman.' A most undemocratic and unscientific prejudice."

How do we know that there isn't life after death, Jesus rose 'from the ashes', nothing solid to say he didn't rise as a spirit

    As a christian, it is ones duty to NOT JUDGE..........remember this little passage;

'Matthew 5:38 Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth'

'Matthew 7:1 - Judge not lest ye be judged'

'1 Corinthians 4:5 Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God.'

Who are we to look down on other religional beliefs, after all, there were religions befoer Christ, which remember, Jesus was not a judger, he loved every man and woman

But I agree, that if you go looking for trouble.....................

The only problem is their introduction will probably just be a Bible verse number.

Anyways, I just want to say this thread is more important than ever now that Halloween is upon us. October is the month those paranormal covens recruit as many people into their cults as possible, since they have to meet the yearly quotas. Expect to see more ghost hunting shows on TV. Spread the word far and wide: WATCHING PARANORMAL TV SHOWS AND ENGAGING IN SO-CALLED "GHOST HUNTING" IS AN ABOMINATION BEFORE GOD AND A STAMPED TICKET STRAIGHT TO HELL!

Do you think we're so foolish that we don't know who "morning star" is?

Let's look at the scripture you are incapable of posting...

    Matthew 7

1Judge not, that ye be not judged.
2For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
So we will be judged as we judge. Therefore we will be judged according to scripture as that is how we judge.

Now for the umpteenth time, scripture that ORDERS us to judge.

John 7:24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.

1st Corinthians 6:2 Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?

2nd Timothy 4:2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.

    Matthew 5:44 (King James Version)

    44But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
And we do pray for them, we pray that they will come to Jesus. What are we supposed to do? Tell them it's okay, hold their hand and waltz into Hell with them?

    Luke 6:27 (King James Version)

27But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you,
So again, waltzing into Hell is loving them? We want them to turn from their sinful ways, sometimes tough love is the only way to do it. Do you tell little children that it's okay to play on the edge of a cliff?

    John 13:34 (King James Version)

34A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
Look at that one in context, he was telling the apostles to love each other. Nowhere did he say go party with the sinners.

Now did you even know what those scripture said? Or did you just copy the list from somewhere.

My, my it doesn't take long for the demons to raise their ugly heads around here. You're the one who is going against scripture by wanting to play in Satan's minefield. The Bible specifically tells us not to have familiar spirits.

Leviticus 19:31 Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am the LORD your God.

Deuteronomy 18:10-12 There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch. Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee.

By taking up such a career you are not only damning yourself, but taking all of the fools who fall for your shtick with you.

Again, could you please explain how not sinning is being perfect? If I hit my finger with a hammer, how is that a sin? If I make a typo, how is that a sin? I am far from perfect, but Jesus has made me sin free.

DO NOT private message me anymore. You are the unsaved trash. I'm not witty enough huh? WHO CARES. You assholes are all going to one place.. and it's not heaven.
Really, she has no interest in you, she's infracting you for being the hateful little demon riddled creature that you are.

REMEMBER PERFECT and I do mean perfect.. ONE SLIP UP and BOOM.
So tell me, do you live by the same standards?

May god have mercy on your souls. Because this isn't how he wants his children to act.
Maybe you should actually attempt opening a Bible son, because you don't know what you're talking about.

You misunderstand. She did not send you a "private message". that was an "infraction", explaining to you what you are doing that the administrators find unacceptable.

Corrected by a WOMAN?? NOOOOO you mean MISJUDGED by a woman. At this point, you people have made a fool of your selves by launching this crap in the 'net.
You were clearly corrected by her. You claim True Christians™ can sin. The Bible makes it clear we are not capable of it.

How COULD someone who knows that God came to Earth in human form so He could be brutally and temporarily sacrificed to wash away our sins continue to sin? That would be spitting in the face of God and His Ultimate temporary Sacrifice!

Do not private message me anymore. I'm done here. enjoy your money, your wealth and your earthly possessions.
Who, me? I don't have billions and a Mercedes. I'm pastor to a small church in Indiana.

You spread LIES and other crap that only promote one thing HATE.
Which lies? Please point out where we have misunderstood or misrepresented God's Word.

We are, not that the expectations of a God-rejecting witch matter to us. We already told you that we are not capable of sinning. If you are capable of sinning -- say, by involving yourself with witchcraft and the conjuring of spirits -- then you do not abide in Jesus.

May god have mercy on your souls. Because this isn't how he wants his children to act.
True. He wants us to execute witches instead of teaching them how they can find Salvation, but since He has also instructed us to follow secular law, we cannot.

Why friend? The only opinion I trust is Christ's. Not some dumb jackass who doesn't get it that if a TRUE Christian(tm) sinned by definition that person wouldn't be a TRUE Christian(tm) anymore. True Christians(tm) turn their lives over to Jesus and He guides their actions. Since Jesus would never tell someone to sin that means someone who sins isn't listen to Jesus.

This clear enough for you Rob or do I have to type slower for you?

Where do you get your information about God's will from? I certainly can't remember the bit in the Bible where it says "THOU SHALT POST IN ALLCAPS AND ANNOUNCE "I'M DONE HERE" AND THEN CARRY ON POSTING."
