I am not a Christian, yet I still enjoy listening to Hank Williams Sr. and Jr., I don't see why anyone should have to compromise their musical tastes based on what they believe in. If you enjoy listening to a certain band, who, heaven-forbid, mentions something disagreable in their lyrics, you don't ncessarily need to condemn them for that. Oh, and in the words of many, you all need to "chill out".

being here at this website, i have learned a little. the absolute worst bands that i know of has to be Queen and Iron Maiden, since they are both lead by openly and "happily" gay men.

I always treat others the way I would like to be treated, but this forum only seems to be about people who want to ban others ways and what they like, simply because they themselves do not understand. I stumbled across this forum looking up some lyrics to My Chemical Romance, and from what I can see you guys do not uphold the Christian ways.

How do you define "the Christian ways"?

Wanting to ban certain music. I was raised in church, my mother, a Sunday school teacher, and she didn't mind my listening to any music as she looked at it as a phase. In which I am still going through this phase. I still like many bands I listened to throughout school. And from what I read on here, you guys are not very Christian.

Muse is indeed a satanic band. It seems that progressive rock is even more satanic than ordinary rock. But Muse is nothing compared to the progressive metal band called Tool. Their lyrics are generally satanic and they have even made a song called 'Opiate' where they claim that God wants to rape us... They are all sick and disturbed and I am glad that they won't be joining us True Christians(tm) in Heaven.

Learn some common decency and let people go through phases and call them as they wish to be called, not how you see them. And remember we are created in the image God has INTENDED for us. Not how you may want to see people.

Can you tell us where in the Bible we have deviated from? If anything, what shocks most people is that we follow all of the Bible, not just bits and pieces.

You do bring up "nigras and fags". Well nigras are nigras. You can also call them negroes, blacks, or darkies. It's just a description of their skin color. I'm sure you don't get offended if someone calls you "white". As for queers, well they are an abomination before God (Lev. 18:22) so I think calling them a fag is the least of their concerns.
