This little elf has issues with Catholics but still should be shunned, since he sings about rainbows and dragons. If he ever turns his cross right side up and picks up the bible, maybe he'll be welcome here.

And do not forget, WJB, that one of the Reich's most illustrious Christians, the matchless Adolf Hitler, was an unreserved admirer of the sublime Wagner, and erected "Cathedrals of Light" in his spectacular crypto-Christian Nuremburg pageants! Oom-pah-pah! Oom-pah-pah!Originally posted by WilliamJenningsBryan View PostThe purpose of music in not to make you think, it transcends thinking.
You have indeed become a corrupted wench. How can anyone from Austria ignore the annual pilgrimage to Bad Ischl for the summer Operetta Festival?

Oh my GOD, not the Kinkys!
Do you know that Ray Davies said he likes "girls who drink beer"?
Obviously he wishes to ruin Pure Christian Ladies in this manner!

Re: Evil Atheist Music To Avoid!
Today's banned goth death crust band is the Kinks. Even the name is perverted and wrong. Even by British standards, these sinners are degenerate. If they aren't promoting sodomy with songs like "Lola", it's Darwinism and negro behaviour with "Apeman". I cannot for the life of me understand what it is that drives today's youth to listen to this kind of perverted trash so much, but they seem to lap it up like vile pink milk spewing from Satan's nipples!
Avoid these sick goths like the plague!:

Free Nelson Mendella, yeah, they were quite evil... And their song "Do the dog" was blasphemy too...
What about Madness, they had a song actually praising Michael Caine! That devil worshipping brit!

For my sins, I inhabit the Godforsaken isle of England, where the Subhumans are touring...however, I believe Citizen Fish are currently touring the US with the unspeakable MDC, who actually called themselves "Millions of Damn Christians" at one point.Originally posted by Democritus AChE View PostBrother Temperance, Devo even had a song called "I saw Jesus" which I thought was a good song, until I realized it was like Praying Hands and was basically mocking our spirituality! Also, what town do you live in? Subhumans are playing? As them, or as Citizen Fish? Both? Pure evil, I want to protest them too!!!
I'm not that familiar with the Go-Gos or OMD, but the Specials are undeniably evil. They even had a song in praise of a convicted terrorist!I didn't mention many of the obvious groups, such as Reggae, Ska, Rock, Blues, etc. I mostly focused my list on 80's New Wave/Punk but don't worry, I have just as many of those other groups as well... Also, I listed bands that actually have atheist references, bands like I don't know, The Go Go's, or OMD, or the Specials are evil by default, but I haven't heard any direct devil worshiping in their music.

Thankfully, Al Jourgenson will be ending Ministry upon completion of their final tour (after the second half of the Last Sucker is released). Then, he'll be closing up all his side projects, including the damned Revolting Cocks!Originally posted by Democritus AChE View PostMinistry
I'd assume it's because his contract with the devil is about to expire, and he'll be called home to satan!
In the meantime, one of the bands on his label 13th Planet, is on tour, PRONG, I recommend everyone go out and protest their show. Last friday night, I protested them at the Pearl Room up by Chicago (land of harlots).
My next scheduled protest will be Nov. 20. Also up in Chicago at Reggies. When Chemlab and USSA band (which has former Ministry bassist Paul Barker and also has Duane Dennison of Jesus Lizard) I'm not sure if Armyguy will be able to help me protest that show or not.

Sorry for my misspelling, thy has not learned in public school and therefor does not check for spelling mistakes since it would take too long and using spell check is an evil science creation and I'm against all forms of science. I don't even believe in the use of computers...

Re: Evil Atheist Music To Avoid!
Rather than a million replies, I will post some notable posts I read...
Brother V Mentioned Sisters of Mercy and a few others I missed... Sing this Corrosion was pure evil... Speaking of those style bands, Gene Loves Jezabel should be hung just for their gay name...
jalmquist, good list.. I forgot to mention many of those...
Brother John, I can't believe you actually mentioned Klaus Nomi... That reminds me, skafish (since they were both on URGH A Music War in the 80's) should also be on this list...
Virginia D. Templeton, I forgot to mention the Clash! First of all, they were wannabe Christians back in the day. However, later, shortly before being struck down by our lord and saviour, Joe Strummer claimed to no longer believe in god and said he was an atheist. That's not to mention Mick Jones, who had many evil songs with Big Audio Dynamite, from their self titled all the way to "Entering a New Ride" (final album). They even admited on one album that music was demonic form! Listen for yourself!
Brother Temperance, Devo even had a song called "I saw Jesus" which I thought was a good song, until I realized it was like Praying Hands and was basically mocking our spirituality! Also, what town do you live in? Subhumans are playing? As them, or as Citizen Fish? Both? Pure evil, I want to protest them too!!!

Also, I listed bands that actually have atheist references, bands like I don't know, The Go Go's, or OMD, or the Specials are evil by default, but I haven't heard any direct devil worshiping in their music. So, I kept this list to bands that actually has atheist lyrics.... Okay, on to my list:
Jesus & Mary Chain
The Cure (how did I forget that group, I have every one of their albums ready to burn!)
The Germs
Christian Death
Black Flag
Fear
Minor Threat (how in hell could I forget Ian, that devil worshiping idiot).
Bad Brains (they claim to be Christian, but they're black!)
Beastie Boys
KRS One (I use to know this guy, he now came to Jesus, but many of his earlier songs were inspired by the devil. Nonetheless, he's still black).
The Coup (communist atheist Rap group)
Cocteau Twins (Liz is pure evil, with her evil demonic voices and lyrics-if you can call them that!)
Patti Smith (evil writes poetry and sings songs about horses... though she did have a good song about colored's called "Rock & Roll N...."
Dexy's Midnight Runner (I know most of you only know the song with the "too ra too I'm gay" but he also has directly stated on poems on some of the albums that he doesn't believe in god and is an atheist, so their brand of evil must be stopped!)
Dead Milkmen
Elvis Costello (though he has some great lyrics on watching the detectives when he mentioned wigga's..."
Bauhaus > Tones on Tail > Love & Rockets
Devo
Oingo Boingo > Danny Elfman (has many overtly evil atheist tunes)
(word taken out as I would have to cut off my toungue if I said it) Pistols
Public Image Limited
Magazine
Siouxsie & The Banshees
Buzz(word taken out as I would have to cut off my toungue if I said it)
Nitzer Ebb
Skinny Puppy
Ministry
Dead Kennedy's
Pet Shop Boys
Depeche Mode
Crass
Subhumans
XTC (very evil band with many overtly atheist tunes)
They Might Be Giants
The Smiths > Morrissey
Soft Boys > Robyn Hitchcock
Frank Zappa
Bad Religion
Brian Eno
Gary Numan
Boomtown Rats
Split Enz > Crowded House
Violent Femmes (one member is an atheist, so that's enough for me)!
Dammed
Concrete Blonde
I must repent, I feel as though I have shown I know too much about music. It seems that I'm a hypocrite. It's obsurd that I would spend so much time criticizing music that I believe is evil and focus more on my own soul since I claim to be a Christian and that real Christians all focus on their own soul, rather than on degrading others. Well, then again, it say's in the bible we must pluck out the eye of our enemy's, so I guess this list is okay... Well, eitehr way, I must increase my reading of the bible to 10 hours, instead of 8 per day...

Re: Evil Atheist Music To Avoid!
Well said, I believe the ones listed above to be particularly seditious. Jesus certainly hates those sinful Darwinists in Devo, and there really should be some kind of a law against Crass. As it happens, the Subhumans (the UK ones, not the Canuck terrorists) are attempting to ruin Christmas by playing my town in December. You can bet I'll be there to protest it.Originally posted by Democritus AChE View PostHere is my start of a collection of evil atheist music so that we know which bands to avoid and can make sure you don't ever buy any of these artists/albums:
Devo

Ministry
Dead Kennedy's
Crass
Subhumans
The Smiths > Morrissey
You'd probably say that about opium, witch.Originally posted by Blind leading the blind View PostWhat is wrong with TMBG? Honestly?! The Johns and the Dans havn't done a thing to get on this list, and most of their songs are really funny and can lift a bad mood off of anyone!

I'm confused, how was my thread hijacked? or was it added to another thread... I thought I was clever, and now I know some of you are one step ahead of me...
Now that my thread was moved to this thread, I feel I have to read all the other posts on this thread...
Oh, I forgot the Dammed, I'm not sure how I did that...
