People like you take a single verse and twist it so that even the abominations of homersexuality and adultery are supposedly fine by God. They're not.

As I've been writing this, something very uplifting just happened. As I look back, everything that's been said in this topic- by you, by me, and by everyone else- seems profoundly idiotic. I want a clean slate. I no longer want my faith to be seen as a cult, because it's not. Just now a miracle happened, and I don't want that to be degraded by you and your intolerance. God is a god of righteousness, and were he unrighteous, His creation would fall apart. Would not creating something and then deciding it should die without having a chance be unrighteous? And yet here we are.

And listen to this- it won't go against your religion to do so. Some people will not overcome this age and will inevitably end up in the lake of fire. But we so not know who, and we are nt to decide who. As long as we keep trying, we can find who is or isn't predestinated. And if we try hard enough, the more likely they will be saved and that it was meant to be from the start. Yet what you insist on doing is similar to starting a project and giving up after 5 minutes, claiming that it was not your destiny to do so- but if you did complete it, that would mean it is your destiny, would it not? So all you lack is a little patience.

I don't know, would it? God orders every first born killed in Egypt. Afterward, God hardens the heart of Pharoh to make him say no to Moses, so God can kill all of the Egyptian army.

What is righteousness to God? Paul clearly says that God creates certain people to send them to hell and there's nothing you can say or do about it, because He's God and you're not.

Heathen basher, what you have said is much the truth, and I cannot deny that my faith does not say otherwise in this case. I would only like to make the point that after Christ's crucifixion, deaths like those you stated were done by god through speaking, not through war waged by man. That is the fault I see in the way you rebuke me.

Now, while you claim I need to see the truth and I claim the other way around, there is a truth we all need to face: I do not have the experience or strengthto change you, and you have an experience which won't allow you to change, and to me, you do not offer anything that will sweeten and improve my spiritual life. Finally, we are both incredibly stubborn. None of us will change, so there's no point beating around the bush. I want to stop this argument, but every time you post something in reply, I feel the need to reply, I just can't leave with you insulting my faith.

I just want out. Maybe I'm admitting I can't beat you. Maybe I'm scared . But it's not that I'm afraid of a different truth, but rather that I'm simply me. I'm a 15 year old, and I'm going up against multiple people who have dedicated their life to their faith. Friend, you are old enough to know that if you go to a Christian forum where people have spent twice as many years as you've been alive on carefully studying the Bible, you're going to really have to do your homework.

If this is a contest, then it's one in which the loser gets all the rewards. By engaging highly knowledgeable people, you can learn a LOT more about Scripture than by convincing people who won't even bother to open a Bible.

I've admitted that I don't have the strength to beat you.

If a Christian doesn't have the strength to do something, then the Christian prays to God to give him the strength to do something. The real question is: if you pray to God to give you the strength to beat people who accurately represent God's Word, will you receive the strength? Perhaps the fact that God did not give you that strength should be a hint.

This post, and topic, has made me laugh a lot, and has also made me shocked at how some people are. There is a thin line between faithful to god, and just fucking crazy. I liked what one person said in the first few pages "It is one thing to love god, and another to love what you want him to be."

This is a GAME people.....nothing more...nothing less...pulling a quote from a friend here "Get you heads out of your asses!". The game is blocky for reasons, it's not mocking god, are you kidding me? I do not believe in god no, I have my reason, and I will not try to convice any of you to stop doing so. My good sir, I believe I can correct every point you make here. I agree, video games are generally very violent and evil in that manner, though Minecraft is quite peaceful. Trust me, I’ve played the multiplayer and watched my son play single player. I can truthfully say I have more experience than you. Do your research next time, please.

#1: there is no such thing as lava survival and no such thing as hell in Minecraft. There is the Nether, an area of the game that some Minecraft players mistakenly call hell.

#2: actually, it is outdated. It has to be simplistic in order to keep the memory use down, as the world in Minecraft is huge, almost infinite. In fact, if the graphics were any better, it would crash most computers. I do agree that genetic manipulation is bad though, but I do not see how that works into a computer game. What stupid child would think that real life is made out of cubes?

#3: actually, servers are strictly moderated. And by the way, griefing has absolutely nothing to do with sex slavery. It is simply the destruction of others property for fun. I was on a server, someone had just started to make a penis, and so the server automatically deleted it and banned him from Minecraft play. And what can not be done on Minecraft CAN be done elsewhere on the internet, because Minecraft is actually one of the safest, friendliest games out there. And actually, only the children can track down the pedophile, because he has to give his IP address for them to join his server. The children’s IP addresses are completely safe.

#4: they are not walking penises. They are game-controlled enemies called Creepers. Only some perverted players call them penises.

#5: how do you know that a child made that? There is no proof. Also, I will refer to a saying I heard somewhere: if it exists, there is porn of it. I guarantee that if you search “Jesus porn” something pornographic will show up. Does that make Jesus bad? NO!! Same logic applies here!

#6: that’s not porn!! That is a building!!

#7: what’s wrong with creativity? If there’s a nuclear (not nucular, mind you) holocaust like the Republicans want, there won’t be any fast food. And what will your child do then? Lie down and die. Because guess what? There’s no fast food to sustain your child. This game teaches children to think for themselves and survive.

#8: actually, it is a coincidence. The game is European. Obama has absolutely nothing to do with it.

#9: It is not clear. Cannot someone make a red face without it being called satan?
