It is a Scientific fact that Gamers are Retarded, borderline Down Syndrome. My son brought a portable game home from school one day that required him to take action against some kind of Angry birds. I was ashamed and as I told him, birds can't defend themselves in the real world and proceeded to show him how to play a real gave involving a pillowcase full of Oranges. I don't think he has played an electronic game since, although still probably unable due to recent injury.

From what I've heard. Team Fortress 2 is nothing but a boring, repetitive killing spree.

It's astounding that children (and from what I have seen, perverted adults) find interesting in something as awful and 'gay' as a game like this...

I wonder if anybody has asked them to ban it, take it off the shop. Children need more time for Bible study or outside play.

TweetyBird is actually correct, I've played Team Fortress 2 quite a bit and, in all honesty, it really is just mindless killing. It does get boring, for me at least, however it seems everyone here is subscribing to the notion that ALL gamers and games include homosexuals, murderers, rapists and much much more. This is not good in most cases. If you are a Christian parent and do not like gaming, but your son or daughter plays video games, I suggest you check the ESRB rating located on the front and back of the game's case, it will tell you the rating and the reason for these ratings. I will list these ratings below
E: Everyone, everyone of any age can play.
E 10+: Everyone of the ages 10 can play.
T: Teens play these games, 13-17 years of age can play.
M: Mature audiences of 18+ play, this is where most parents make a mistake. They NEVER look at the ESRB rating, only to figure out later they bought their child a game with merciless killing, violence and others. They then blame the gaming industry for this, for the parent not parenting.

There are A rated games, but those are much worse than M rated when it comes to violence, sexual relations and cussing. Now, if your son or daughter plays a game on your computer, sometimes it may not tell you the ESRB rating, instead, go on the internet and look up the game, it will most definitely tell you the ESRB rating. If your child is under 18, don't let them play M rated games, if your child is under the Teenage years, don't let them play T rated games. Honestly, it all comes down to the parent, you can't blame the gaming industry for your mistakes. There is one more thing I would like to say: Play games with your child, learn more about the game they're playing, you may not know if you will like it. Personally, I've had my mother play Fallout: New Vegas, and she loved it, and she's a Christian. Playing games with your child will have them warm up to you, your children will like you more, they won't like it if you just outright ban them from playing video games from just a few seconds of watching them play a game, because you're basically killing off their free time.

Even at the end of the day, if you still dislike video games, at least your child will respect your opinion more. Please, do not subscribe to the notion that all video games are evil, give them a chance, you might like them!
