Thats really immature of you. You infraction me for being correct! Wow, just - wow. Its like you are emu's sticking their heads in the sand when they hear something they don't like.

How was that link even slightly satanic? That was probably the most religious page on that entire wiki.

Okay, I will serious about this.

Firstly, That isn't a star and crescent, thats a double crescent and has nothing to do with Islamic culture. A triad, as in illuminati? A goth helmet, which is actually a stereotypical Viking helmet. There is no set religious cross like you have said, but by scrolling over the sword icon and pressing the X button, you get a cross - problem solved!

Secondly, you state that are these true christians. No, probably not to your standards. However is a heavily based around religion and there are tons of biblical references within the story.

    <<<Satanic link removed by moderator>>>

Here is a list of religious references within Halo, not just biblical (though largely Christian, I think).

you over reacted. like seriously. with microsoft being a big company they literately sell all over the world so they sell to hundreds of thousands of people, Christians atheists you name it its probably in there. so they must appeal to all of them. giving them some quick Clip art to make a unique emblem that they like. some people like the Yin and Yang, as it represents an unbroken balance of two opposites. the helmet is probobly for people who like the Armor sense of stuff. and the plus and diamond, is literally just purely cosmetic so you can fiddle with the combinations. i don't see how you were so frightened by something that wasn't even part of the actual game

Just a few days ago we had the game GTA banned from Target, K-Mart and countries like Austria for its unChristian contents. HALO III and all other games will follow soon to protect the children. No one can stand in the path of the righteous judgment of our Lord and Savior!

    Here, Here!

My exact sentiments. Gametards are all doomed for an eternity of rectal rape and torture in Hell for mocking Jesus.
Though you are wrong about the soul part. All people that do have souls are not worthless. The soul is what Satan is after. Even a gametard sould has value. Some say it is about $0.25. I personally do not know how much value 'worthless' is.

Well, what did you expect? They certainly won't get in to Heaven by sitting around their mom's house playing Halo 3 all day!

It's going to be AWESOME watching all of the sinners burn for eternity:

(Psalms 2:4) "He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision."

The attached image clearly demonstrates how Microsoft wants to promote Muslims and pagans, and at the same time shove Christians under the table. See the star and crescent? See the Yin Yang? There's even a triad and a goth war helmet. But is there a cross for true Christians? No!! The only thing resembling a cross is the PLUS symbol! Nerds? Mathemeticians? Are these true Christians?
So you want us to look like fanatics? We should be pretty happy that we don't look as if we're participating in war. We ARE supposed to be peace-loving, not bloodthirsty.
But yeah, a Christian campaign would be pretty cool To Be Honest. "defend the points without killing"? That's a challenge
As soon as I saw this I grabbed my camera to take a screen shot. I didn't even complete my character profile; I immediately retreated from the gaming theatre to join the rest of the holiday party. No one there seemed to share my distaste for what I had seen, even when I showed them the images on the LCD of my camera.

I couldn't wait to get home to upload them to the internet for the world to see.
If this was the thing that freaked you out most, then you must not mind the deaths and the experience of being on a battlefield. THAT's more shocking than not having a cross as one of the icons.
And do you want Christians to look like gangsters and bloodthirsty fighters? Please say no. The Spanish inquisition is probably one of the biggest reasons as to why you shouldn't try to impose Christianity on things at any cost.

Um... just stating my opinion here with some facts...
I've met the creators of the game (Bungie) and this system you refer to is the Emblem Creations. It's meant to make either a team symbol or a personal sign. Even though it's been months I've seen this one, I know for a fact that they were not trying to do anything funny like that. The "gothic war helmet" is actually a simple helmet, as worn by knights of old.

For the other symbols, it's al been stated in several polls that these symbols are the most common. What the double crescent can also mean is freedom. Or as the makers have stated, a little reference to the moons in the game. As there are two.
Also, one could make the colours in such a way that only one of the moons is visible, if wished.

And before one states that Bungie was in employment of Microsoft (which technically was true), Bungie has never really cared for this. They've always pushed forward on their ideas to make their games better against the will of Microsoft and succeeded. So either Microsoft tricked them very well in putting a terrorist sign in, or like I said before it is a mere reference.

Either way, I'm just speaking for the creators of the game. Personally I was more fond of mixing the crossed swords with diamonds... That does make a quite smooth symbol in my opinion
