Or for that matter, go anything except 'go to your room alone and pray to Jesus for forgiveness'). That they would associate the sky, which is clearly the location of Heaven, with such an indescribably foul act is sickening in the extreme. No surprise that it's being made by game developers, who are notably anti-Christian. Rest assured, their neckbeards will be caught aflame once they're burning in the pits of hell!
it's called that because the continent you play on is the "rim" of the "sky" because of all the mountains ie. the continent touches the edge of the sky. if you're going to find double meanings don't just go with the one that suits your purpose

Just think what you could accomplish for Jesus if you gave Him the same time and energy you waste on foolishness!

The "Demon worship" in the game is just to make the world a more convincing place. I mean, if you played the game and just saw christians everywhere, and had no motivation to win the game, would it be fun? No! If you don't like a certain town or religion in the game, you can easily just wipe them out (If you put enough effort into it). What's the point of no storyline in the game? You need to do something to classify it a game. So the point is to KILL these demon worshipers in the game. Not praise them.

Re: Will Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim be ok to play or will it be evil

Alright, let me get this straight for all of you who have sadly mistaken that this game and the games before it are evil. The Elder Scrolls V:Skyrim is a game in the elder scrolls series, obvious in the title. You are the dragonborn, who is a person that has the power to harness the shouts of the dragons, and save the world from near-destruction, once again.

(By the way, Skyrim is the name of a province in the north of Tamriel (The continent). The name is actually a combinations of Sky and Rim, meaning, Sky's rim, or Sky's end.) In the game you are given the task to defeat the legendary dragons who have awoken for a mysterious reason. You use a huge variety of skills to play the game. You can be good, evil, or you can be neutral. It's all your choice.

So you people have been saying that since this videogame has magic, it's satinic. NO, it isn't. It's a fantasy game, which means the entire world there is made up. It takes almost nothing from the real world. Magic in the game is not evil, it is just what the players request for. You see, we are not living in the 1600's anymore, and you can clearly see that it's fictional and is just meant for the players enjoyment.

The game is meant to appeal to everyone, so you have almost unlimited choices. If the game was solely based upon the bible, other people from different religions would get upset and complain. But you people are exceptions, since you are extremeists. Saying verses from the bible would base the game for one group of people, and the developers would take in less income.

The freedom of the game is what makes it unique. You can take various paths to reach certain goals, so just to make the game seem fun, you can kill others NPCs (They don't exist, you know) and steal things. The game is not meant for small children, and even if it was; unless the child has various mental problems it wouldn't harm them.

Video games are meant for escapism, it isn't evil, it's just meant for entertainment. See, why would a good company spend millions and millions of dollars to send so subtle messages (Which aren't even there in the first place) that no one but perverted minds such as yourself could see? It doesn't make any sense at all.

Your logic is the same as saying that mowing grass is satanic. "Oh, well it does it automatically, so it much be witchcraft!"-No! Your just trying to slowly pry peoples own freedom from their hands by convincing them it's made by satan and spreading lies. You know your totally wrong, you just won't admit it.

Video games can't be evil, they're inanimate objects made for entertainment. I mean, it's not like it sits there chanting at you, "Kill your family kill your family kill your family" the whole time you're playing it. Now that would be kinda evil.
I've played Skyrim, it is actually a really fun game. You can pretty much do whatever you want. You can actually do the missions you're supposed to, or you can just run around and kill things with a giant sword. Or you can help random people and they'll become friends with you.
Sometimes evil gods will try to tempt you, though. You can choose to help them or defy them. I usually defy them, you can never trust them.
As for dragons... hey, the dragons are the bad guys. You're not supposed to like them. You're supposed to kill them. So every time you fight a dragon, you can pretend you're killing Satan. Over and over again, because they never stop coming after you. Just like Satan.
It's not that bad of a game if you think about it like that.
Now I'm going to sit back and wait for the rude responses to my polite opinion.

And trolls, stop trolling. This is a religious website, and these guys have the freedom to do what they want, say what they want. If they believe it is evil, so let them believe it is evil. Go and work on your Smithing then, get it to level 100 and make Daedric armour, rather that waste your time trolling here.

No wonder! God hates what you do and tells us clearly.

Leviticus 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

The 10 in a toilet merry go round sodomy orgies when the lights go out makes me sick to my stomach.
