There is only one way to get rid of the metal scene, but the bible prevent you Exodus 20:13

So i quote Twisted Sister, you cant stop rock n roll

***pre-op tranny video link removed ***

Yes, God commands us not to kill, but He also commands us to kill, for instance, homosexuals (Leviticus 18:22) like the ones in the video you linked to.

Grown men, in makeup...

It is only because we are commanded to obey secular law (Romans 13:1) that my hand is stayed.

Dear Friend,

Ans what if a metal band follow the bible then?

Then they would stop being a metal band and do something useful for the Lord.

When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

Not at all. True Christians™ are obedient unto the LORD (Deuteronomy 6:4-9). This means we are not hateful (Romans 13:8); arrogant (1 Peter 5:5); ignorant (Psalm 111:10), or murderous (Exodus 20:13).

Dear, this entire church forum is full of Bible verses that explain exactly what it means to be Saved. If you are not Saved, you are Damned. It's really not that complicated.

Thou shall not kill? Well don't the bible also tell you to kill, well basically everyone?

Ans what if a metal band follow the bible then?
And think carefully before you answer.
If you say they don't you not only prove my point, you also claim to know every metal band that ever existed.

Re: God makes a statement agaist Heavy Metal

Let me guess. The christian "logic" is that one person do something wrong and you can condemn a whole genre thinking everyone is the same? Everything to make it as easy as possible for you.
Then its no problem to do the same thing with christians. So by your own logic christians are nothing but hateful, arrogant, ignorant murderers.

And its very interesting to see you create a thread where you attack a music genre but cant back anything up with your precious bible, even though you DEMAND it all the time from anyone else. If you cant back your statements with scripture, don't demand others to do it.

Friend

One doesn't need The Bible to tell you that dressing up like the villian a bad episode of Star Trek is wrong.

No, dear, the True Christian™ understands there are two kinds of people in this world. The Damned and the Saved.

Everything to make it as easy as possible for you.

What's easy is finding the LORD.

If you bothered to read this thread from the beginning, you'd see that we have many, many times pointed out God's command to:

1 Thessalonians 5:22
Abstain from all appearance of evil.

Can this be anything but the appearance of evil?

Re: God makes a statement agaist Heavy Metal

Well i asked all of you to show where the bible says heavy metal is bad a long time ago so i asked you first. So why are you too avoiding to answer?

Because it's an absurd question.

The Bible doesn't specifically say flying a plane load of screaming people into a tall building purely for the sake of causing mass death and destruction is a bad thing - so does that make it ok?

Do you see how childish your argument is? The Bible informs our conscious of what is moral behavior. That is why The Bible doesn't have to mention things like Heavy Metal music, Goths, Juggalos, Video Games, Democrats or Model Rail Roading is pure evil. Our' hearts KNOW it.

Re: God makes a statement agaist Heavy Metal

I haven't listened to enough heavy metal to know just how Satanic it is, but I can't the stuff at all. It's too loud and there's too much bass and no melody whatsoever. Seriously, who wants to listen to a bunch of people screaming stuff that can't even be understood? But I suppose that it's a good thing that the so called "lyrics" aren't understandable because said lyrics are probably some kind of vile Satanic language that no good Christian person should ever have to hear.

[Rev. M. Rodimer]

Re: God makes a statement agaist Heavy Metal

So i ask where the bible mentions heavy metal and i get the "answer" that building houses on sand is a bad idea. Yeah very logical.

If you cant or don't want to answer just say so instead of changing the subject.

So, because the words "heavy metal is bad" aren't in the Bible, the explanation that doing things which do not glorify God is bad does not extend to listening to people who praise Satan.

By that logic, you will no doubt agree that there is no such thing as "separation of church and state" in the US, because those words are not in the Constitution.

Right?

MSNBC on Tuesday continued its attempt to dismiss Republican candidates as extremist, hitting Sharron Angle, Christine O'Donnell and others as "mean girls" who are unqualified for office. Jansing appeared shocked that the Delaware candidate pointed out the phrase "separation of church and state" isn't in the Constitution. She then read from the First Amendment, but failed to find the words.

After playing a clip of O'Donnell from this morning's debate, Jansing sputtered, "I thought she had to be kidding." She then pulled out her "handy, dandy" pocket Constitution and quoted, "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof or abridging the freedom of speech.' Amendment number one. I don't even know where to go with that." [MP3 audio here. Click on the article for video.]

What Jansing was thinking of is the Establishment Clause. O'Donnell's point was that restricting the creation of the official religion isn't the same thing as walling off faith from public life. Despite the indignant tone of Jansing, "separation of church and state" isn't in the text.

Yes i did

No friend, I merely offered my hand in close friendship and then I asked you a simple question as you come across as a very knowledgeable person. Are you telling me that you were lying and that you have no idea? I hope you were not pulling my leg. God does not like fibbers.

Friend, you never asked me

Yes i did

Btw, exactly where does the bible mention heavy metal?
You've got this question so many times but always avoid to answer, don't you have the answer?
I doubt a 2000 year old book could mention a music genre that was invented 42 years ago.

And i still waiting for an answer

Re: God makes a statement agaist Heavy Metal

Well i asked all of you to show where the bible says heavy metal is bad a long time ago so i asked you first. So why are you too avoiding to answer?

The Holy Bible says that perverts are hated by God. It is a fact that heavy metal musician and fan is a pervert.

I rest my case.
