Friends, I am certain that both of you know far more about secular cinema and its forgotten failures of ungodly film making than I. I am not a cinephile. I was previously a homophile, but Jesus has cured me. Praise Him!

But I digress. As I was saying, one need not be a film critic to know when one sees a dangerous film. So, once you both forgive me for the minor errors I may have made, I am certain that the both of you, if you are unlucky enough to someday view any of these rarely seen collections of celluloid detritus, would agree with me that whatever these films may be called, they are of questionable artistic merit at best and at worst, they are dangerous harbingers of the imminent downall of secular society.

This is a picture of Star Trek for one and I happen 2 like the show. There was one particular episode where on this one planet these people were worshipping the son and it was either Captain Kirk of Spock that finally understood that they weren't worshipping the sun but the son of God. Star trek was never about evil, they were about meeting different species and trying 2 bring them 2gether. Some were evil and some were good like humans. It was based on Gene Rodenberry's idea of the future. Women wore short dresses bec that's how it was in those times, U have different races serving on the Star Ship enterprise which I thought was great.

As for Star Wars? I never seen any beastiality in it. As 4 Luke Skywalker and Princess Leah, In the beginning they didn't know they were brother and sister when he had his little crush on her but when they found out, there was no hooking up 4 them so there was no incest. Princess Leah and Han Solo were the ones that hooked up. I can't see this movie as evil. It is George Lucus' idea of the future or he just made it up 4 entertainment purposes. Either way, this is a good movie.

I am always being asked which films are safe, and which films NO Christian should even have a copy of. It's a well known FACT™ that some movies, which may be certificated as 'family-friendly', can turn your children gay, while others can leave your child mentally disturbed, and in need of serious psychiatric treatment. While other movies, which may have a child-friendly rating, may contain serious Satanic influence, that could lead to demonic possession if viewed by a minor!

So with that in mind, I thought I would start THIS thread, so we can make a list of ALL the movies we feel that NO Christian should own!

Movie No. 1 - Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory

Have a look at the trailer for this Satanic piece of garbage! Please remember, this movie was actually made for children!!

Disgusting! It's enough to make Jesus puke! And they let kids watch this trash?? Parents, waken up here! This film NEEDS to be BANNED from EVERY Christian home!!!

Please post OTHER movies HERE that you wish to add to the BANNED list! We must do ALL in our power to protect our children from the Devil's work.

I can see both sides 2 this one. I can see how some pple can interpret, Willy Wonka as a chimo, inviting kids 2 his candy shop kind of like Michael Jackon inviting boys 4 sleep overs. U have the inmature child like personalities. The ooma looma's that u pple call dwarfs, The bright rainbow colors. The boy who falls in the chocolate river that looks like human waste and almost drowns, the girl who expands n2 a huge round grape and explodes, the kid that ended up in the garbage shoot only 2 be burned alive and the kid that was shrunk and then tortured. there is but a little flaw in that assumption. In the movie, It did not show the girl that expanded n2 a purple grape explode, she was dejuiced. the incenerator in the garbage shoot was broken so no child was burned alive. the kid that was tortured and stretched n2 a taffy, showed no trauma of being tortured, The child was taller and more flexable but that was it, the kid that fell in the chocolate river, I don't know whether he almost drowned or not b4 getting sucked n2 the tube. We can see the movie as gay, evil and pediphile like but here's the other side of it. I believe the creaters of Willy Wonka and the chocolate factor wasn't taking all of that n2 consideration. They used the bright colors and Ooompa Looma's 2 attract the younger generation. It was all about entertainment not brainwashing. the kids u have mentioned was also accompanied by an adult. The kids that had suffered a horrible fate. was also greedy and disobeyed they're parents or guardians and ended up suffering from the repricussions of their decission makings. Kind of like if u tell a child 2 look both ways b4 crossing the street and they don't listen so they take off a head off u and get hit by a car. There is danger in disobedience. We the parents teach r kids dicipline and obedience 4 their own protection. There is a third side 2 this movie and that's my side. I think personally that this movie is stupid but that's my own personal opinion. LOL.

Please don't think I'm trying to argue; I've just watched the movie a bunch of times and I never felt like it had anti-religious undertones or anything. I'm not here to argue, though. This is the first tab I've clicked on besides the 67 deadly sins. I really liked that article because I first need to know what is a sin before I can confess to sins. I don't know if anyone will read this anyway, or if they care that I liked the article. haha. I might as well make a post on the article itself.

Please don't think I'm here to argue - I have strong faith in Jesus, I am a Baptist... I just clicked on this entertainment page to see what it said. Yeah, about Star Wars, first off, that picture is from Star Trek, another show that takes place in outer space.

You should really take another look at the Star Wars movies, they do carry deaper soncepts about spirituality and many links can be made to christianity, the maker of the movies George Lucas is a deeply religious man himself.

As for the implied incest, there is some tension going on between Princess Leia and Luke Skywalker, allthough they are both unaware at the time that they are related.

What really doesen't ring a bell for me is the bestiality, could you give me an example?

I come to think of CS Lewis, a man who has written alot of good stuff about christian belief, at the same time some of his books takes place in outer space, and the most known series Narnia in a fantasy world linked tou the real world. Books and movies often consist of made up worlds so that we can dream away to another place that does not exist for awhile, is this really un-christian?

Another good example is Tolkien and his works, he was part of a christian circle when studying in oxford, and actually turned Lewis from ateist to believer. Tolkien himself was catholic and pretty strict about it, wikipedia can tell you more about that.
Anyhow, his famous work Lord of the Rings carry good christian messages aswell, allthough he claimed he himself was unaware of it whilst writing it became clear to him when he read his finished work.
