Amen Reverend, the Hellywood inspired movie is just another promotion of the homer gay lifestyle.

First, please note that the connection is between the film and gay men, not the book. There's a difference.

In the film, Dorothy escapes her sepia hometown where no one pays attention to her into a beautiful, colorful world full of adventure. She embarks on a way to get home (why??) only to be told that all she ever needed was inside her all along.

The film has become an allegory for the gay coming out experience, where you know something about yourself and in accepting that, a whole new world opens up to you.

Additionally, Judy Garland was a strong but troubled woman which seems to resonate with gays (Marilyn Monroe, Bette Davis, Joan Crawford, Bette Midler, Cher, etc). There's some speculation that the gay code "friend of Dorothy's" used in the forties and fifties referred to Dorothy Gale from the Wizard of Oz, but it could also refer to Dorothy Parker from the Algonquin Round Table.

Further cementing the connection, Judy died June 22, 1969. A remembrance was planned at the biggest gay bar in Manhattan on June 27th. Cops decided to raid the bar that night as the gays mourned their idol, and the patrons fought back thus sparking the gay civil rights movement and the annual Pride celebrations across the country.

So you are really saying that the original trailer was made to be child-friendly, hiding the true nature of this movie? The scenes do not lie, this movie is terrifying! A madman (who is probably a pedophile) invites 5 children to come into his sick candy factory filled with dwarfs, where they are dispatched one by one until only one child remains... disturbing!

A boy almost drown in a river of what looks like human excrement?? Before being sucked up a huge tube leading to a machine that will apparently slice in into bars of gory human fudge? Another boy is shrunk to the size of a dwarf's hand, before being put of a torturer's rack to stretch him back to normal size? A girl is thrown into a garbage pit by a bunch of evil dwarves, which leads to a giant furnace, to be burned alive, and her father is sent to join her! Another girl eats a stick of gum, which makes her whole body swell up to gigantic proportions, before she bursts open and dies. Does this sound like a movie for children? NO, it does NOT!

I completely agree, though I only found the part where he hacks up the parents and feeds them to his gay butt-sex loving oompa loompas(the name screams HOMO!!!) half as bad as the part where he rapes and murders the children because it was the parents who allowed this to happen while the kids were put in harms way because of the parents blindness

Hey guys! I found a quite profound movie, "Bikini Jones and the Temple of Eros," that teaches young girls the true meaning of love. It involves a young girl prostitute who comes upon a special temple of the Lord. There she is taught by nuns to be a true Christian and is taught to be a proper wife. The movie features no onscreen violence or sexual content (other than the main character being described as a prostitute in the opening monologue). I don't want to spoil the end but I heartily recommend this movie!

I watched a movie where a group of black men raped a white woman in central park; one after the other. They called it "wilding" (true story).

Their lawyer tried to make it sound like a social commentary of some sort. That murdering and raping this young and pretty successul lawyer had it coming to her because she was hard working and not a drunken, porch sitting darkie looking for something to do.

I agree that a lot of these are horrible videos. I am a Christian and I'm not here to argue in any way. I'm just a little hurt because I love Willy Wonka - I'm new to this site and I just bought Willy Wonka on DVD because I love it so much. Do you really think it's satanic?

Please don't think I'm trying to argue; I've just watched the movie a bunch of times and I never felt like it had anti-religious undertones or anything. I'm not here to argue, though. I'm a little new here 2. actually, I'm very new but in response 2 what u have said, I don't think the creater of Willy Wonka had any of this in mind. I don't think their intention was 2 make this movie evil in any way. There is a deeper meaning 2 it but it wasn't meant 2 be evil. If u have the time, read my response on this movie. There is a great understanding 2 this movie. All though I don't care much 4 it bec it doesn't interest me, I have seen it and I don't condemn it.
