Honestly, when i found a link to this website on stumbledupon.com, I thought it was a joke, but you honestly believe that my little pony is the devils work. A show that promotes kindness, generosity, honesty, humility, loyalty, and intelligence is the work of the devil? The true work of the devil is when you holier then thou bible thumpers scare people away from jesus, who by the way exhibited those same six elements himself, and make them feel unaccepted and unable to go to church, so they just stop. I just received a call from a parent in my congregation. She'd come home from her bridge club early, and found her teenage son sitting at the computer, with his . . . thingy in his hand, playing with it, while watching "My Little Porny: Friendship is Magic" on the computer!

After she finished thrashing him with his father's belt, she looked at the computer and found that he was streaming it from Netflix!



They're going down. Down, I tell you!

Ahem, let me start off by saying that I myself have moral beliefs. I do not succumb to such devilish and fiendish temptations. However, I must say that you are all very judgmental towards a "cartoon". Cartoons have been around since early 19th century as political satire. From then on, cartoons have evolved to a form of entertainment, both for kids and adults. There have been various types of cartoons each with a different demographic. This "My Little Pony" franchise was created by Bonnie Zacherle. Her only intentions were to create a series of pony toys for little girls; to bring happiness and joy to all the little girls. The show was then adapted as an animation, simply for "entertainment". Notice how I'm quoting "entertainment"? That's because it's a fun cartoon, not a show that promotes Satanism and the such. And this new My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is no exception. I personally enjoy the show, as does my family and a few friends of mine. There is no reason to detest this show based off what you perceive.

As for the repulsive "sexual" actions you witness within the show's fandom (a fandom is a community of fans involved with the subject one way or another): everything has a good and a bad side. It has been this way since the beginning of film and animation. There have always been adult films and adult animations. I mean, come on. Kids back then used to sneak into a general store and steal an adult magazine or movie. Nothing has changed from then to now. The only real difference is that on the internet, it is more abundant. From what I hear, a large percentage of the internet is composed of pornographic websites. That doesn't justify the internet as being a "pornographic sanctuary". It never has, and it never will. I myself find these sexual acts as grotesque, especially cartoon ponies engaging in sexual acts. However, that should not conclude the definition of a cartoon. In fact, there is more good to the show than there is bad. From the show itself, kids learn morals and happiness. I have yet to see an individual who can watch the show without smiling. They learn the true meaning of friendship and not giving up hope. All this criticism is a compilation of what you think is "bad" about the show. There is nothing "bad" about the show. Part of the reason why you may dislike the show is because it is new to this generation. It is something we haven't experienced during our childhood. That should be no reason to show hate. Isn't that something we learned from the Bible? To love our neighbors and our enemies? The show promotes the exact same message, but noted differently: Love and Tolerance. I seriously cannot understand how any of you are able to misinterpret the show. How about giving it a chance, but with an open mind? We shouldn't be judgmental about others. If you saw a man in a turban, would you assume he was a terrorist. Some of you probably would, but it shouldn't be that way. This proves my point about the morals the show presents. No evil included. And as for the magic and mythological creatures... It's. A. Cartoon. I don't see any of you complain about Snow White having dwarves and a witch. What about Mickey Mouse? "Oh, my! A talking mouse! Demons!" This has got to stop. I've had enough of it. Why can't we love Jesus Christ and yet still love what he has given us? Hope. This particular show has given many people hope. There are stories about this show preventing suicide; relieving people of their depression. I, for one, would have fallen into a deep depression had it not been for this show. It has forever changed my life. All I see now is optimism. Please change the way you people see things. Just because it isn't related to religion, doesn't mean it's wrong.

What else am I missing? Oh, yes. That whole "Rainbow Dash represents homosexuals" subject. No, she doesn't. She is a pony. Nothing more, than a fun-loving pony with rainbow-colored hair. No where in the show does it state, depict, or even imply that she is a lesbian or stands for homosexuals. If any of you can find proof of this, I would be glad to apologize for this statement. Otherwise, stop. One thing has nothing to do with the other.

Oh, and about the "furries". I sure do enjoy the show, but that DOESN'T mean I am a furry. I'll try to explain what a furry is. Many people assume furries are people that dress up as animals and engage in sexual intercourse. That is definitely not what the typical furry is. Those are what we call the extremists. Just like there are religious zealots, there are extreme/hardcore furries. That doesn't mean that all furries are like that. The typical furry just loves animals, animal art, and anthropomorphic art (in a NON-SEXUAL way).

And as for the set of pictures on the original post, the ones with the word "SEX" inscribed and pictures of "pony butts":

"Minnie Mouse's skirt is above her knees AND she's showing her underwear!? Blasphemy!" Seriously, Minnie Mouse's body resembles more closely to the human anatomy than do ponies. You don't judge Minnie Mouse's appearance, yet you judge the "natural nakedness" of a pony. In this show, clothing is aesthetic. It is not meant to cover one's private parts as 1) There is no intention to reveal sex or any sexual-related material within the show and 2) It's a kid's show! Why would anyone show private parts to kids? Especially through a cartoon? If those pictures were really bad, there would be more than just the "butt cheeks". Oh, and about the word "SEX" being hidden in that pony's hair:

1. It's a coincidence. Stuff like this happen, I mean, look at this:

^ And that isn't even SEX that is hidden in the Lion King, it's SFX, the abbreviation of the special effects team that worked on that scene.

2. It doesn't even remotely look like it could be the word sex. I mean, look at it. I could easily write that same word on a different scene and you would believe it to be another subliminal message.

I do believe I've covered most, if not all, of the controversy of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Thank you for taking your time to read this. This post wasn't meant to start a fight any of you or to be anti-religious. I simply wrote this to prove why your assumptions and judgments are incorrect. It isn't up to us to determine what is good and evil. We can perceive what is good and evil, but we cannot determine it. That is God's job. So why don't you sit down with your child and/or family and watch an episode at least. If you don't like it, that's fine, but you shouldn't shun it for being what it is. It is not a spawn of Satan, neither does it promote evil deeds. It's simply an entertaining cartoon. A well-animated, well-written piece of work that'll last in my heart for the rest of my ever-so-changed life. God bless you all.

Just from that I could already assume that you didn't read my post. That shows signs of your ignorance, sir. The reason why I didn't post anything in the introduction section is because this called my attention. This thread had a large impact on me, my family, and my friends.
