But regardless of our love of God and his majestic works, why would you not want to celebrate such a joyous occasion? Doesn't her death just prove how foolish and useless all of this "self-esteem" nonsense really is?

If loving and believing in yourself was enough, why would we need God?

Jesus alone can fill the empty hole within each of our souls. When you love Jesus, you don't need to love yourself or fill any emptiness with false things.

Also, I am pretty sure that she did not submit properly to her husband. When he beat her, she took drugs to dull the pain instead of bearing up properly and trying to be a better wife which is what Jesus instructs us to do.


I don't know which is sadder about her--being known for a self-belief anthem and then living such a miserable life before dying at her own hand or all the talk she did about faith and Jesus. I'm pretty sure she did go around professing Jesus and her church and all that in between drug use and rehab. Obviously all just talk.

I know this could be placed in a "No Duh! Who doesn't know THAT!?!?" subforum if we had one, but the Los Angeles coroner just came out with his report on how the Negro whore Whitney Houston died.

The toxicology report is in.

The Los Angeles County coroner's office has determined that Whitney Houston's official cause of death is: "drowning and effects of atherosclerotic heart disease and cocaine use."

Wow, I'm totally shocked it was drugs!
