O.K. i created account just tu say a couple things.

Before i begin my story, i would like to mention, that i found you while trying to realise is My Chemical Romance a religious band. I was hoping they are not. Well because it seems weird, then a band starts saying that it is a religious band, it just looks like an advertising of christian religion and it seems weird, because if someone wants he/she will find a church... ( i stoped listening to Underoath, Skillet, when i finded it out.)

I haven't read all pages here, but i read first 2 and last 3. This discussion is wrong from the very begining.

One of our members posted a video by Emo band My Chemical Romance, titled "Welcome to the Black Parade". Well, I thought it would be a jazzy little New Orleans style number, with plenty of brass instruments and dancing Negroes. I was wrong.

Instead, it's a bizarre death cult video, in which the band members use subliminal imagery to assert that their Emo death cult is actually OK with Jesus!

Observe what I saw on the guitarist's shoulder at 2:16 in the video!

MCR isn't a religious band, but it isn't emo, satanic too. They play Alternative Rock... Also they didn't wanted to show that they are OK with Jesus! The cross is just a part of the costume, like those stripes...

MCR aren't emo and satanic, because they don't worship satan or other weird things in their songs and they don't do emo stuff.

Calling MCR " Emo death cult" is the same as calling AC/DC or other normal band "Emo death cult"

Once again MCR is just an alternative band and they never tried to say, that they are advertising church, while playing, so they did nothing wrong to ofend you.

Why would you say that?

In one of the videos someone removed from my post Gerard Way said, that they hate emo's and they aren't emos and they do not want for kids to hurt themselves... (like emo's do). They might look like emo's, but it's only clothing and their costumes in that video are created for the theme of "Black Parade"(and probably some random designer added that cross... xD ).

Also i am not trying to tell you to listen to this group, i am not telling that you should let other deep christians listen to it, i am just trying to say, that this group might be not good for you, but not because they are satanic emo's (they aren't), but just because they play Alternative Rock and you can hear swearing in their words as well as singing about death or maybe it's just not your taste of music!...

I was trying to say that you don't have to listen to My Chemical Romance, but you should't say that they are satanic emos (they aren't ) just to explain why you don't like them.

Take a few minutes to read that. I'm Christian and know that God comes first, but these people actually went as far as to say that one girl was an ENEMY OF GOD, just because she liked MCR, even though she is a Christian.
Ridiculous...Christianity is about loving everyone, not just people who are normal. My church is so cool about my weird obsessions...and I love them. I'm glad that I don't go to this church...and to me it seems like they shouldn't say 'fag' on there.
