Do you know the difference between singular and plural?
I looked at a basic language page, it had a lot of (more than one) words as an intro. So as to avoid confusion I've chosen this other page which does not have an introduction, with a restful sky blue background washed out to about 91% and fairly clear word lists that are not too long.



"Nephilim" is a plural word. In that language plurals are shown using a word ending similar to child/children with the -im from Nephilim indicating a plural (more than one) word.

In grammar this is called Number. Therefore no such thing as a (singular) Nephilim (plural) exists.

Not being in possession of such a superior intellect as yourself, could you please elucidate me on the exact passage in the Holy Bible (KJV 1611) where the word Nephilim first appears. I have searched for many hours and have been unable to find it.


If by Nephelim you mean Giants then please tell all of us which Giants you are referring to.


Numbers 13:33 tells us:

“And there we saw the giants, the sonnes of Anak, which come of the giants: and wee were in our owne sight as grashoppers, and so wee were in their sight.”

What we note here is that a lower case is used for the word giant.


Whereas in Genesis 6:4 God tells us:

“There were Giants in the earth in those daies: and also after that, when the sonnes of God came in vnto the daughters of men, & they bare children to them; the same became mightie men, which were of old, men of renowme.”

What we note here is that an upper case is used for the word giant.


In other words the Giants are the descendants of the Sons of God and giants are just the offspring of people like Anak.


Even Wikidpedea (that great online source of all knowledge) has no clue as to what the Nephilim are. It says that the Nephilim are mentioned in the pentateuch which is a part of the torah, NOT the Holy Bible (KJV 1611)


Now, oh mighty watcher of inane documentaries. Please enlighten us.

Telling one of our most esteemed True Christian fellows to shut up is no way to earn brownie points.


Instead of being so aggressive try and take the time to understand that all the good people of Landover are trying to do is show you the True Path to fulfillment. Watching these documentaries on Biblcal Lore will not get you closer to God, no matter what you've been told. Please try to get it into your, in my opinion anyway, narrow minded brain that there is no such thing as Biblical Lore. There is only the Holy Bible (KJV 1611), this is God's truth to us, this is His Testament to us and above all this is His covenant with us:

Thank you for your patience and for an important contribution distinguishing the word as a proper noun. It's interesting that we're expected to accept derivation from "Biblical lore" (whatever that means) and yet at the first hurdle new definitions are just made up, for convenience I guess. The next stage would be convincing youths that everything else in "Biblical lore" is arbitrary too and that Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: means "Let's set up a giant porpoise statue and all grovel in front of the thing wearing salt crystal jewellery celebrating the evil one!!" and we all know what comes next don't we.

Heathens think we can't see through their subterfuge but we can and even if they say "Oh, that crouching gender-nonspecific was just posing for a photo," or "We were just having a temple orgy as a backdrop for this bar mitzvah video," the fact of what they've done remains. Hell is opened up in their minds as a result and any plagues or possession by devils which follow are entirely real.

I know you're aware of this and appreciate your efforts to show The Truth where otherwise thick darkness would cling.
