Now I have had a role in a play where I had to be an emo.
To be emo you:
1. Wear a lot of eyeliner.
2. Listen to Black Veil Brides or Blood on the Dance Floor.
3. Self-harm.
4. Have facial piercings.
5. Tattoos.
6. Band merch.
7. Feminist.
8. Gay/Bi/Pans
Emos.

You also have to cry continuously like a infant. All EMO's are cry babies 'with deep feelings'. They need to snap out of it and get with the program. If I find one of my kids every crying, I tell them I'll really give them something to cry about and I read Deuteronomy to them. Then a few backhands and the whimpering stops. You cannot coddle kids. The want a strong, persuasive parental figure.

I don't know why people fear the EMO types. They are more likely to harm themselves than anyone else.

It is a well known fact that they share needles when doing the drugs.

They also like to become so called blood brothers when they cannot express their feelings in a normal way (such as fellowshipping about Christ or taking them to the local swimming baths).

This of course spreads the AIDS. So there is a lot to be fearful of.

I feel like I should point out that emo music is not the same as punk music. Emo music tends to have more expressive or emotional lyrics (example: I will follow you into the dark by death cab for cutie) while punk is more about social revolution (example: anarchy in the UK by the sex pistols).

There can be overlap between them and someone who likes emo music may also like punk music or vice versa but they are not the same thing.

And what sex are all these 'non binaries, trans things, etc'? Oh, wait, they are all either male or female. So the word you are looking for is bisexual. Always has been, always will be. Either you find the opposite sex attractive (heterosexual) the same sex attractive (homosexual) or both sexes attractive (bisexual). This is reality. Try living in it.
