Baptist Preacher: "We do not wear sin as a badge and parade it."

I was proud to read of the Baptist preacher who is standing firm against two lesbos who are scheduled to speak at a Baptist college conference. The preacher does not want sin held up as some kind of ideal for students to aspire to. Especially, homerism.

In saying, We do not wear sin as a badge and parade it, our Baptist was putting the hammer down on Satan's effort to pollute young minds to approve of homers. Like our own Pastor Zeke, this fellow was putting the True Christian™ up as an ideal, not the sinful and lustful life of sodomy.

Isaiah 24:1-3 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty (2)...as the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. (3) The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken his word.

Amen! Bulldykes can't even go five minutes without grinding their vulvas together...even less when they are in mixed company! Praise this preacher for nipping such a vulgar display of lust in the bud!

It is especially inspiring to see Righteous colored folk can stand up against these disgusting homopreachers!

2 Corinthians 11:13 "For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ."

Matthew 24:24 "For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect."
"Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven." (Matthew 5:16)

"But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery." (Matthew 5:32)

If they don't believe The Bible, why do they call themselves Christians?

Sorry to say that most people who say that they are Christians don't believe in the Bible and haven't read more than one page of it.
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

Oh. So where do they think The Bible came from? Why was it written?

I'm trying to understand this; The Bible explains about Salvation and the sin we need to be redeemed from. We understand about sin because God has told us:

            Psalm 119 KJV
10 With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments.
11 Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.
12 Blessed art thou, O LORD: teach me thy statutes.

Are there things provided by God in The Bible which, even if not statutes, contradict Him by saying that a particular activity is not sin in some circumstances?

            Leviticus 18 KJV
22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.
23-25 Neither shalt thou lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto: it is confusion. Defile not ye yourselves in any of these things: for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out before you: And the land is defiled: therefore I do visit the iniquity thereof upon it, and the land itself vomiteth out her inhabitants.
26 Ye shall therefore keep my statutes and my judgments, and shall not commit any of these abominations; neither any of your own nation, nor any stranger that sojourneth among you:

Well, that seems to be a statute. It is reiterated elsewhere in The Bible and New Testament authors write in the same Spirit. Not only should men not pervert-it-up either at home or in the public square but women in the same manner are condemned. BY GOD. IN THE BIBLE.

            Romans 1 KJV
22-29a Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Being filled with all unrighteousness

So if in contradiction of God's statute, reiterated in The New Testament, one may connubiate with same sex "partners" why should one not slope off with an anteater or gorilla or even bother to simulate marriage at all? These are condemned by God as abominations in the very same passages.

Why was God wrong about the homo- but not wrong about the interspecies-sex? And what exemption is provided for preferring one abomination over another? The Bible groups them all together.

When Jesus starts confusing me, I automatically chalk it up to His ways being mysterious.
              Romans 11:33
O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!
How wonderful that God has made for Himself, in The Word, an allowance to be obscure, otherwise, people might start thinking the Bible is full of crap! Praises!!
