I don't believe anyone is totally straight or totally gay. I think it's less of a black and white thing and more of a "on the scale of one to one hundred" thing. One hundred being totally gay and one being totally straight, I'd say I'm around twenty.
I've also found that the more homophobic people are, the more secretly homosexual they tend to be, too. Look at Ted Haggard and Larry Craig. It's something you folks might think about next time you try to verbally bash homosexuals.

Here's a reason that you might want to take into consideration:

1 Cor. 7:7-9: For I would that all men were even as I myself. But every man hath his proper gift of God, one after this manner, and another after that. I say therefore to the unmarried and widows, It is good for them if they abide even as I. But if they cannot contain, let them marry: for it is better to marry than to burn.

Then again, if you can't have children, it's a moot point in your case, since you're going to burn regardless:
