There is so much discussion on Christian sites these days following a theme of, "Why can't we just love our homosexual friends? Aren't we supposed to bring them to Jesus?"
As a Bible believing preacher said recently, we do not love our homer friends if we allow them to continue with their sin. They need to feel our hammer.
Instead of saying something like, "We love you as you are," read one of the six condemning pieces of Scripture to them. Rewarding them with unconditional love only pushes them further into Satan's embrace.
To love that person you need to let him/her know of their sin and get rid of it. That is genuine love.
