  • Lutheran Church of Norway Embraces Sin

    Bishops in the Lutheran Church of Norway recently were asked about homer bishops and preachers "marrying" homers. It's not a surprise most replied they are fine with both. There is even a Bishop who has been marrying homers for several years.

    The Lutheran Church of Norway has specific rules against both. But its clergy just ignores its own rules and puts the stamp of approval on sin.

    That's the reason people looking for a church should stay away from any church with the name "Lutheran" on it. The denomination came from those liberal Scandinavian countries and Jesus has always been suspicious.

    I suppose if three of them wanted to "cohabit" without being married they couldn't be done for bigamy. Would that be a consideration? The Norwegians I know do not call themselves "Lutherans" regardless of how they were registered at birth. They can get deregistered but can't be bothered for various reasons, mostly administrative. They seem particularly fond of brandy but as far as I know are not in three-way relationships. Well, not permanently.

    God's standard is so important and the consequences so direct when it's ignored that soon enough Norway will apply to join The Third World and start ordaining witchdoctors.

      It could be Lutheran preachers are too drunk to notice if they a marrying two men or a man and woman.

      Stone drunk Norwegians get that way on aquavit. Aquavit is made from potatoes and runs 80-90 proof. Long ago, drunk and depressed from long winter nights, some Norwegian mistakenly spilled caraway seeds and dill into the fermenting potatoes. They haven't yet noticed out how terrible this tastes so they are still in the aquavit.

        It's always the same way with socialism. Start with a successful product, make a minor modification to it and call it something else. And in the process infringe some corporation's intellectual property, our heritage.
        If I have seen further, it is by standing on the heads of others.

          That's the problem with all false Christians. If they can ignore the word of God, why on earth should they follow the arbitrary man-made rules of their own denomination? This is why they are plagued with endless schisms and why they'll never inherit the kingdom of Heaven. LBC follows all the rules and made up none of them.
          I was sinking deep in sin far from the peaceful shore,
          Very deeply stained within, sinking to rise no more;
          But the Master of the Sea heard my despairing cry,
          From the waters lifted me, now safe am I!
