Fine, prove him wrong, using Scripture. As for "disregard for the general public," we have enough Christian love to warn people of the consequences of their lifestyle choices. When you see sodomites, do you also warn them, or do you just go on your merry way and let them suffer from the gay plague in this life and the lake of fire in the next? I hope it's the former, since I cannot begin to imagine what sort of intense hatred would motivate someone to do the latter.

And if the statistics indicate that men and women are equally victims of it that just proves that the disease isn't limited to gay humans as your hate speech indicates. Because gay people represent 10% of the population and only about 1.3% of the population are lesbians. So logically not all gay people have the disease and many straight people have it as well.
