    GOD LOVES US ALL - EVEN GAYS

    I know I am going to receive a flood of hate posts for this, but you simply cannot avoid the truth. God loves every person on this earth despite the fact that our lives are filled with sin.

    Yes, being gay IS a sin. It is not accepted by the Christian faith. But all of us are sinners. Who is to say that you are "less" of a sinner because you are not gay? Perhaps you cheat, lie, and are greedy. Who is to say that you are above someone who is gay?

    Sins are sins and we all have them. Some people may choose to be gay, and that is there sin. But being CHRISTIANS we are called to LOVE everyone, despite their sins, the way Christ loved us. The hatred displayed towards gays by some Christians is disgusting. Perhaps they would be more willing to convert and become straight if they were shown more compassion by Christians?

      You will not get any 'hate responses' from God fearing True Christians. I am not sure where that paranoia stems from. Perhaps it is from be persecuted as a sinning Homer? Is your fascination due to your emotional ties to other males during the showers at gym class? I do not hate anyone. I let God sort them out.

        You're almost right, but being almost right will almost save you from eternal damnation. We all have sinned, and the use of the perfect is intentional, to show something that is a done deal:

        Romans 3:23: For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

        But once we're saved, things change:

        1 John 3:6: Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.

        1 John 5:18: We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.

        Now, as for showing compassion to homers, we do that in buckets. You implicitly admit that we devote a lot of effort to warning them of the eternal consequences of their deathstyle choice, and if that isn't the most effective way to show Christian love, what is?

          Wrong. True Christians(tm) are not sinners. We WERE sinners, before we were Saved. Once Saved, Christians sin no more.

          God says that we are above someone who is gay, or who steals, or who lies, or who cheats, or who wears blended fabrics, or who works on the Sabbath. They all go to Hell. We do not.

            this whole idea that being gay is a choice is completely bogus. i can't believe that people still buy that garbage.

            to prove my point answer me these questions:
            1. at what age did you decide that you were heterosexual?
            2. do you know who richard simmons is? is there any possible way that he is "faking it" with his whole gay persona and made a conscious choice to effeminate?

              A. My paranoia stems from the absurd amounts of degrading comments I have seen on this site. I am disgusted by the things I have read on a so-called Christian website.

              B. I am a woman who is currently engaged to a MAN. Simply because I show compassion on others as Christ showed compassion on us does not make me a homosexual male.

                We often have to show sinners Christ's tough love in order to get them saved. Should we just be nice to them and let them slide off into eternal hell? That doesn't sound very loving to me.

                    if you have always been heterosexual and had no choice in the matter than how is homosexuality a choice. the reasoning is absent. if you didn't choose then how is it someone else did choose their sexuality? the answer: they didn't choose. it is the same as you not choosing. it is not a lifestyle it is genetics.

                    again, i must point out in this forum that name calling is a crutch used by those who are not comfortable in their stance and must relegate to insult when logic is lacking. in other words.....lame.

                      I have always been heterosexual because I chose to be. I was not forced or coerced. I have been to, places the Homers are. They have attempted to approach me. By the strength of God's will I was not stabbed with thier swords of indecency. From your defensive tone, I suspect they may of stabbed you a few times.

                          I just love how these people think. We are all sinners anyway. So why is it so wrong to bend over and take some guys tool in my a$$. How bout because violating Gods law in every way is not a small sin. Your very way of life puts bile in Jesus mouth. The lord has commanded that we go forth and multiply. And no, not by have sex with other boys. Thats just how YOU HOMERS multiply.
                          Jesus and the apostles are a perfect example on how men SHOULD act around each other. As they went around Israel, preaching the new salvation, did they end every night with there man parts in each others mouths and anus's. NEVER.
