I know I am going to receive a flood of hate posts for this, but you simply cannot avoid the truth. God loves every person on this earth despite the fact that our lives are filled with sin.
Yes, being gay IS a sin. It is not accepted by the Christian faith. But all of us are sinners. Who is to say that you are "less" of a sinner because you are not gay? Perhaps you cheat, lie, and are greedy. Who is to say that you are above someone who is gay?
Sins are sins and we all have them. Some people may choose to be gay, and that is there sin. But being CHRISTIANS we are called to LOVE everyone, despite their sins, the way Christ loved us. The hatred displayed towards gays by some Christians is disgusting. Perhaps they would be more willing to convert and become straight if they were shown more compassion by Christians?
