My Friend Was Kicked Out of His House for Atheism

Me and my best friend used to have religious discussions all the time, and over time he basically decided that I was right and there was no God. But you know, he never really took religion all that seriously anyways, so he didn't think it was a big deal. Well, he told his parents about a week later, and they told him to leave until he "thought about what he'd done to himself." Now, he's living with an older friend of his who has an apartment. I feel so bad for him, almost like this is kind of my fault for convincing him. We're both seniors in high school, and he has no one to go to about this. Does anyone have any advice for him? Because I have absolutely no idea what to tell him. I am lucky enough that even though my mom is Christian, she tolerates me and my atheism. I have no idea what it's like to be in that kind of situation.

If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything.

Your friends parents did the right thing. A child who does not listen to the parents gets to be treated as an adult. I bet the 'older friends' apartment only has one bed too. Apparently, your friend (and you for that matter) have made reservations at the Hell Apartments. Just a matter of time before a space opens and you boys get to move in for eternity.

Tell me, what does it feel like to make stupid choices? I made smart ones, like only following the JKV1611 Bible and loving God.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

I'm sure if you post his phone number and his parents' number, a True Christian™ Pastor would try to smooth the situation over.

We could win him back over to Christ and get him right with his parents.
Christians are superior because we possess an understanding that unbelievers lack. It is through the Power of Jesus only the converted mind is able to understand what is going on in the world; what the Communists are really up to; what Satan's intentions are. Most unbelievers do not even believe in Satan and cannot understand his tactics.

Maybe he'll stop offending Jesus now.

Stupid atheists. They act all independent and intelligent until they get into trouble then they come begging for CHRIST's help. I love being a True Christian.
