Truly, this is the path to his own salvation. We are but messengers of the word of God and it is by their own repentance shall they see the light of God. He may be blind physically, but that is only a small mortal price to pay, as he will see far more greater things in which the eye cannot see.

Before you judge me however read the rest of my post.
I would say the appropriate punishment would be removal of his internet and a forced reading of the bible, if then does not see himself how badly he has wronged and punishes himself then more drastic measure of punishment are suitable, I am simply trying to keep you on the right side of the law while providing a way to save your son

If we were living in a godly country where the KJV replaced the constitution, his penalty would be clearly stoning.

Since we can't do that, take him before your church and tell them what he did. Nothing cures a homer more than a good public shaming. Maybe instead of rocks, you could encourage the members of your congregation to throw rotten fruits and vegetables.
