  • Confused about scripture

What I remember was there are some verses like 'a man should not lay with another man as you would with a woman' or something like that.

What I am confused with though, is don't the homosexuals do very different things than what we heterosexually do with women? I mean like, I would like to have heterosexual married intercourse in the missionary position with my female wife.

Homosexuals not only would not do this with a woman, but what they do with each other is widely different than this, they have homosexual unmarried sodomy in a dog position.

Also, why does that passage not address women? Can they lie together because they lack a penis?

I believe I am being tested so that I can use my faith to find an answer in why it was worded this way. It would have been clearer to say something like "men, don't put your penis in one another, and avoid touching except when circumcizing to create a convenant with me" right?

What church do you attend? What did your pastor say about these questions?

The Holy Bible certainly does address the nightmare of lezbeanism. Any Christian worth his salt knows this verse:

Romans 1:26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
1:27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
    1:28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
This is the only clear reference to lesbians in the Bible, but clear it is.
    Who Will Jesus Damn?

Here is a partial list from just a few scripture verses:

Hypocrites (Matthew 24:51), The Unforgiving (Mark 11:26), Homosexuals (Romans 1:26, 27), Fornicators (Romans 1:29), The Wicked (Romans 1:29), The Covetous (Romans 1:29), The Malicious (Romans 1:29), The Envious (Romans 1:29), Murderers (Romans 1:29), The Deceitful (Romans 1:29), Backbiters (Romans 1:30), Haters of God (Romans 1:30), The Despiteful (Romans 1:30), The Proud (Romans 1:30), Boasters (Romans 1:30), Inventors of evil (Romans 1:30), Disobedient to parents (Romans 1:30), Covenant breakers (Romans 1:31), The Unmerciful (Romans 1:31), The Implacable (Romans 1:31), The Unrighteous (1Corinthians 6:9), Idolaters (1Corinthians 6:9), Adulterers (1Corinthians 6:9), The Effeminate (1Corinthians 6:9), Thieves (1Corinthians 6:10), Drunkards (1Corinthians 6:10), Reviler (1Corinthians 6:10), Extortioners (1Corinthians 6:10), The Fearful (Revelation 21:8), The Unbelieving (Revelation 21:8), The Abominable (Revelation 21:8), Whoremongers (Revelation 21:8), Sorcerers (Revelation 21:8), All Liars (Revelation 21:8)

The Bible was divinely inspired, and divinely preserved into English in the KJV 1611. The language of the Bible is perfect.

Sin puts distance between us and the LORD. When you accept Jesus into your heart and surrender to God, we are drawn into His bosom. The language of the Bible is perfectly clear for one with faith.
      II Thessalonians 1:7-9
And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power

The man who is being progressively sanctified will inescapably sanctify his home, school, politics, economics, science, and all things else by understanding and interpreting all things in terms of the Word of God and by bringing all things under the Dominion of Christ the King. -R.J. I don't like to think what they do instead, because that is a thought that is not what we want now do we? We need to focus on heterosexuality only, because that is what the Lord has thought us.

        1 Corinthians 6:9
Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders

Let us not stray from his ways

First of all I think that you need to follow the way of Jesus and overcome the test. It is clear that God is testing you. Do not be tempted to find interest in homosexual behaviour or their nasty habits.
