  • Gay Jews In Prayer Book

I'm not sure what to make of this. I stand with you that homosexuality is a carcinogen on society, but Jews don't hate gays to the extent that you do at LBC. I don't really see the harm in including gays in prayer.

    Your thoughts?

Gays in Updated Jewish Prayer Book
    By Advocate.com Editors

A new book for adherents of Conservative Judaism for the High Holy Days will modernize prayers and will for the first time include one for Jewish gays, according to The New York Times.

Rabbi Edward Feld headed the committee that wrote and translated the new book over a period of 12 years. It marks the first updating by the Conservative movement in nearly four decades.

The new book, or mahzor, as the prayer book for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur is known, will include for the first time a prayer for a deceased “partner”— an effort to include gay Jews — and also one for “a parent who was hurtful.”

The Conservative movement represents the middle ground among the three major branches of Judaism in approaches to gay issues, women's rights, and other societal matters. The Reform movement has historically been the most accepting of gays and Orthodox Judaism the least.

The High Holy Days culminate with Yom Kippur, the day of atonement, beginning Friday at sundown.

    But God does...

We don't hate fags - God does.

But as you haven't bother to read the whole Bible (KJV1611) (had you done so you should have found Jesus by know) so I'm not surprised you haven't discovered that your not supposed to promote the Gay death-style. You're supposed to through moderate sized rocks on them.

My thoughts are God's thoughts, and He says that homers (those "without natural affection") and their supporters (those "that have pleasure in them") are "worthy of death." Romans 1:31-32

Romans 1:31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: 1:32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
Pray for a queer, go to hell with them.
        Who Will Jesus Damn?

Here is a partial list from just a few scripture verses:
