I do not believe that our saviour would present us with a 2+2=5 situation, and when I come across one, I want to be able to see where I have gone wrong and find what is right. With this philosophical problem we are currently discussing, and with what is being said about God in relation to it, I'm seeing a 2+2=5. That can't be right.

Maybe God's intentions are hidden from us here, but I don't see why I can't search for them. I do not blame God, I'm not trying to correct God, I am trying to discover God, even if I will never find the answer.

But doesn't the new testament disagree with what you just quoted? I.e. paul talks about just giving what you can afford to give/what you want to give:

"Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver” (2 Corinthians 9:7)."?

Well you are ignoring what Paul said if you should have me do what you have just told me to do. To give away everything is not what I believe God would want me to do as that would hinder my cultivation as a person. To take it to the extreme i would die, as everything I have would go to you, always. Every scrap of food, every piece of clothing.

Anyway, as I say, I have no money, to refund tuition fees you must make your decision before a November last year. This computer is university owned. I get money from my parents to live off, but it is not my money, it is for food. I must honour my parents, right?

It's a microcosm of the world. For every saved person, there are hundreds of millions of unsaved. If all were saved, virtue would not be appreciated. The sinners make the pious look better.

I shudder to think of a world without unsaved scum like you. Nobody would gush about my Godliness and praise my many, many remarkable qualities. I would no longer stand out as a completely perfect specimen of holiness to be envied by all.

Are you trying to say that its a GOOD thing that there are unsaved people in this world so that you can be further glorified by there unfortunate position? That's despicable.
