I consider myself a very open minded person, I consider the moral components of a practise or situation and make an informed opinion - I don't consult a single story book like the bible for example.

I understand how you can believe in God - nobody knows how the world truly came to be. But you must realise that the bible is just propaganda that has been adapted by monarchs and patriarchs and those that want to gain power in history. Some passages may have been written with the best intentions. But even if there WAS some message of God in the orgininal scriptures it'll all have been edited, lost and rewritten in the modern bible.

The Holy Bible is the Inerrant Word of Jesus Christ, Our Savior. Not some 'Hello Kitty" story book. If there were a error or omission, God would see to it that it was corrected.

I don't want to attack you. I want you to think about your beliefs and the people you hurt when enforcing them.

I don't hate Jesus, I study History of Art and am well accustomed to his representations and teachings. The majority I don't have a problem with.

I don't believe in the bible's relegation of women or homosexuals however, these were beliefs of a superstitious time and I can't blame them. You are fortunate not to live in such a time; reassess your beliefs.

I found the website when researching evolution for psychology, was horrified and amused by it and thought I'd try and understand how you came to think so bizzarly.

King James I had the bible re-written as he thought it challenge his authority as king - he wanted the power of an absolute monarch and enforced the idea of The Divine Right of Kings. God had little input.

Oh dear. Homosexuality is not a choice. Insisting it is implies your ability to be homosexual. If that is the case stop this charade and come out of the closet - much less self-loathing.

Our thinking is not bizarre. It is consistent with 3500 years of opinion on the matter. In fact is we believe exactly the way God told us to through Moses in roughly 1500 B.C. and our views have not changed one bit from those of that period.
