Finally some brave cops standing up to sodomy, enforcing the law in real southern style!

Baton Rouge, La., cops arresting gay men for private consensual sex

Sheriff’s office says anti-sodomy law is 'still on the books' and will be enforced; DA says no crimes have been committed

BATON ROUGE, La. — At least a dozen men since 2011, the most recent on July 18, have been arrested in East Baton Rouge, La., under the state’s unenforceable “crimes against nature” anti-sodomy law.

The arrests result after the suspect agrees to have private, consensual sex with an undercover sheriffs officer — there is no sex-for-money deal between the two, and the men do not agree to have sex in a park or other public place, according to an investigation by the Baton Rouge Advocate.

The charges against the men is based on a part of Louisiana’s anti-sodomy law struck down by the U.S. Supreme Court a decade ago.

District Attorney Hillar Moore III said he has refused to prosecute each of the cases because his office has determined that no crime had occurred.

Moore noted that public sex acts and the solicitation of “unnatural carnal copulation” for money remain illegal. But those elements were lacking from these 12 cases, and most of the men were arrested after agreeing to have sex a private residence.

After inquiries from the newspaper last week, Moore said he would meet with Sheriff’s Office investigators to discuss the implications of the 2003 U.S.Supreme Court ruling in Lawrence v. Texas, which struck down sodomy laws across the country.

But a Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman denied that investigators had been misapplying the state’s anti-sodomy law, which remains among Louisiana’s criminal statutes.

“This is a law that is currently on the Louisiana books, and the sheriff is charged with enforcing the laws passed by our Louisiana Legislature,” said Casey Rayborn Hicks. “Whether the law is valid is something for the courts to determine, but the sheriff will enforce the laws that are enacted.”

Peter Renn, an attorney with Lambda Legal, said the pattern of “unlawful arrests over multiple years” suggests authorities are using stings as a means to harass gay men.
DA says no crimes have been committed
Really? No crimes have been committed? What about the greatest code of law ever written?

    Leviticus 20:13
If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

    What about it?

I don't see you enforcing any biblical punishments and neither did those police officers. No one was put to death.

You know Jack, every time I read one of your posts it occurs to me that you missed your calling as a proof reader of the GM technical manual on how to change the rear axle on a 1963 Buick Skylark.

If you ever bothered to read the Bible (KJV1611) you would know that True Christians™ are bound to obey Romans 13. Once we change the secular laws and return to a Christian and Bible Based country things will be different.

Now some have tried to point out that Romans 13 is why we are a bit more peaceful than the mooselimbs, but in reality it shows why we should simply deport the lot of them back to their own countries. Now that we have perfected horizontal drilling techniques we can take our oil without paying them for it and they can all go back to herding goats.
      Hell's foundations quiver at the shout of praise;
brothers, lift your voices, loud your anthems raise.

WAAAAAAHHHH! We want to have anonymous sex! We want to spread AIDS! WAAAAHHHH!

Bunch of crybaby sissies is what they are. Using the craigslist to hook up for some skin flute sessions! It's disgusting! It makes my skin crawl. I have goose bumps just thinking about it.
Christians are superior because we possess an understanding that unbelievers lack. It is through the Power of Jesus only the converted mind is able to understand what is going on in the world; what the Communists are really up to; what Satan's intentions are. Most unbelievers do not even believe in Satan and cannot understand his tactics.

          Act 5

[25]Then came one and told them, saying, Behold, the men whom ye put in prison are standing in the temple, and teaching the people.
[26]Then went the captain with the officers, and brought them without violence: for they feared the people, lest they should have been stoned.
[27]And when they had brought them, they set them before the council: and the high priest asked them,
[28]Saying, Did not we straitly command you that ye should not teach in this name? And, behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man's blood upon us.
[29]Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.
Sorry, but you god's law seems to supersede man's law.

You can ignore the above verses and the inherent contradiction they imply, cowering behind Romans 13 if you'd like. But in doing so you also demonstrate support for President Barack Hussein Obama. Not only that, but you assert that Barack Hussein Obama is a godly man, appointed by your god and doing you god's work.

          Romans 13

[1] Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.
[2] Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.
[3] For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? Do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:
I see two choices for you here.

1.) Romans 13, verse 3 is referring to "godly leaders" who can be recognized by their actions.

If you interpret it this way you are no longer capable of hiding behind secular law as a excuse to disobey your god's commandments as specified in the Bible. Such an interpretation would render you a hypocrite and a false Christian just like all the other salad bar worshippers. So clearly you wouldn't be too keen on this option.

2.) Any and all rulers are a mouthpiece for your god and must not be resisted.

That includes the Ayatollah of Iran, the Pope in the Vatican, the President of China and the President of the United States. So tell me, is Islam a godly religion if you are within Iranian borders? Will you perform the traditional prayer five times a day facing Mecca if you ever find yourself there? Is Catholicism godly in the Vatican. Will you venerate Mary and accept the Pope's decisions as God's edicts if you ever end up there? Is atheism righteous if you are in China? Will you suspend your belief in the mythological Jesus if ever in that country? Are Barack Hussein Obama's policies godly?

Do you support the Muslim Negro Terrorist Kenyan Usurper Barack Hussein Obama who holds the highest office in the United States of America? Obviously, you would not dare resist Obama as "they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation."

Sorry Jack, but your tedious ramblings fail to see the big picture here - and I might add that, like a typical liberal, you are offering false dichotomies.

Of course the Muslim negra terrorist Kenyan usurper Barack Hussein Obama was appointed by Jesus to lead the United States - it would not have happened otherwise. God often works in mysterious ways, but in the end it is for our own good.

Since Obama was first elected, Godly Republicans have taken over numerous Governorships and retaken control of the US House of Representatives. I need not mention that Republican Governors have the power of redistricting - further cementing Republican gains.

Even the Godly Republican Party is now focused on expunging RINO's and Neocons from their ranks.

Last but not least, socialist communist Obama's failed policies on the economy and his scandal ridden administration have lead people to simply stop listening to his soaring vacuous speeches - and frankly anything else he has to say. Even the Democratic Unions and other government workers are begging to be exempted from ObamaCare. Obama might as well go play golf with his remaining days in office.

I'm calling this a big win for Jesus.

Of course we can't leave this subject without a bit of comic relief (and Jesus does have a sense of humor). Democrats have become a laughing stock, particularly in the matter of one joo pervert Democrat Anthony Weiner and his bid for Mayor of New York. Maybe the double entendre is a bit above your level of sophistication Jack, but we here at LBC are all enjoying the daily headlines along with Jesus.

There was supposedly a Republican resurgence in 2010 as well, but I digress. Let me repeat the questions for you.

                1. Is Islam a godly religion if you are within Iranian borders?
                2. Will you perform the traditional prayer five times a day facing Mecca if you ever find yourself there?

                8. Do you support the Muslim Negro Terrorist Kenyan Usurper Barack Hussein Obama who holds the highest office in the United States of America?

What part of the concept of false dichotomy do you not understand Jack? When it comes to Jesus there is not a contradiction here as you have framed it.

I believe Jesus is trying to teach us a lesson here - just like my father when he found out I was drinking as an unsaved rebellious teenager. "Want to drink eh?" he said, "have at it" as he proceeded to open up the home liquor cabinet - "drink until you puke". Americans think they like the Democrat socialist workers paradise - give them control of both houses of congress and a weed smoking and inhaling president and see how long it takes them to puke.

You've already demonstrated your own hypocrisy. For your sake, I hope your ghastly myths of fire and brimstone have no reality or you'll be there along with the rest of us.

No man living in the United States can adhere the Bible 100% without either ending up dead or imprisoned. You are not dead and you are posting regularly on a public forum so that makes you a hypocrite.

Re: God bless Baton Rouge, Louisiana

The answers were not to your liking jack, so perhaps I will take a stab, since we have such a great rapport.

                          1. Is Islam a godly religion if you are within Iranian borders?
No, islam is never a Godly religion

Isaiah 43:10 - Ye [are] my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I [am] he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.

1 John 4:1 - Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

Isaiah 45:5 - I [am] the LORD, and [there is] none else, [there is] no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me:

Revelation 19:16 - And he hath on [his] vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

To follow the law of man does not mean to forsake God, it means don't be a dick. Or more importantly it means be peaceable when confronted with hostility and tests of faith.

                          Titus 3:1-2

Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work,

To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men.

                          2. Will you perform the traditional prayer five times a day facing Mecca if you ever find yourself there?
Again, no. to the islamic prayer. A case could be made for praying to God and Jesus five times daily.

                          1Thessalonians 5:17 Pray without ceasing.

Plus, although islam is the state religion of Iran, other religions are not 'outlawed' in the strictest sense

Although the Constitution states that "the investigation of individuals’ beliefs is forbidden" and that "no one may be molested or taken to task simply for holding a certain belief," the adherents of religions not specifically protected under the Constitution do not enjoy freedom of activity.

Which means, yes you might get your head kicked in by jack booted thugs for loving you some Jesus, but it is not illegal. And The Bible tells us that we're doing the right thing when we're persecuted!

1 Peter 3:17 - For [it is] better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing.

Luke 6:22 - Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you [from their company], and shall reproach [you], and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake.

                          3. Is Catholicism godly in the Vatican.
No, but I'm pretty sure they don't require you to be catholic to be in vatican city

Plus, even if they did, who's going to enforce it? These guys?

                          4. Will you venerate Mary and accept the Pope's decisions as God's edicts if you ever end up there?
                          No

                          5. Is atheism righteous if you are in China?
Specious, again. Religion is not currently outlawed in China. The government is "atheist" in the sense that none are promoted. Enjoy this helpful link

                          6. Will you suspend your belief in the very much real and alive in Heaven Jesus if ever in that country?
                          FTFY

No, because it would be completely unnecessary in any event

                          7. Are Barack Hussein Obama's policies godly?
His policies, no, his laws, yes. The Lord works in mysterious ways, some things are designed to test us in our faith, like dinosaur bones, and Rosie O'Donnel.

                          Psalm 26:1-2
Judge me, O Lord; for I have walked in mine integrity: I have trusted also in the Lord; therefore I shall not slide. Examine me, O Lord, and prove me; try my reins and my heart.

This is a thing to be welcomed, not cheapened by over analysis.

                          8. Do you support the Muslim Negro Terrorist Kenyan Usurper Barack Hussein Obama who holds the highest office in the United States of America?
Support, no, follow the laws of, yes.

You don't stick to the same terminology much, is this an attempt to slip something under the radar, that you can then pop up with later?

I hope that our efforts have helped you realize how stupid you have been. May this be a firm step for you on your way to Jesus.

                          Yours in Him

Psalm 137:8-9 O daughter of Babylon, who art to be destroyed; happy shall he be, that rewardeth thee as thou hast served us.
Happy shall he be, that taketh and dasheth thy little ones against the stones.
