The Saudi's, who ordinarily have a very noble and biblically consistent view of women's rights are taking a step backward by permitting women to refuse their husbands sexual advances during Corona virus pandemic because the wife might be concerned her husband could infect her when he should be in quarantine.

Shouldn't the husband make that decision? If he wants to put his children or wife at risk of a viral infection shouldn't that be up to him? This seems like it's setting a very bad precedent to me.

It seems perfectly obvious to me: only a husband can decide. As I mentioned yesterday (you probably won't have bothered to look at it, because it is in the Ladies' Prayer Shack), when my husband returned from foreign parts his decision was to isolate himself (and me) from the children.


He is now thinking about making this a more permanent arrangement. It is entirely his decision. Ephesians 5:22-24 is perfectly clear on this.

No group, Christian or Muslim, should allow this virus to create disorder. The world was arranged by God and should not be rearranged over this temporary problem.

The world is ordered so that the rich have certain previlages the poor do not. People of one race, white, have it easier than people of lesser races. And, men have authority over women.

I can't see how the Saudis think they are making things better by making things worse.

Honestly all poor whites need to be shot. All saints in the Old Testament (Abraham, Joseph, Job etc.) were rich. If someone isn't blessed by Jesus, he is not a Christian.

Since it's legal for a man to beat his wives into submission in Saudi Arabia, this probably isn't a big obstacle. Still, you hate to see any erosion of the rights of men as the heads of their households.

I believe this trend will turn out to be a tremendous error. If the Saudis are going to let wives refuse their husbands, what good are they? From what I've seen in movies like Lawrence of Arabia, Arabs have sparsely furnished tents with no excess baggage. They usually have a rug to sit on, a large plate for eating and a few people who are sitting on the rug and possibly eating from the large plate. Apart from those items, the tent is empty and there are not even enough useful items, let alone an angry feminist over in the corner. The Arab husbands will be throwing those now useless wives out into the sand and now that Saudi women can drive, they will all be getting in their cars and heading for Sweden. There are already too many Arabs in godless Sweden.

Every arab I've come across smells like goat. Not pleasant. I once sat next to a Turkish woman on an international flight. I think she had coated herself with Chanel No 5. Once that wore off she also smelt like a goat. I know turks and arabs are different, but they both have an unpleasant smell.

It seems to me this is a direct violation of religious freedom. Maybe the United Nations should be notified.
