I agree with your policy of having no Negroes. They are a nasty race and given to unspeakable outrages. Also, the Yankees get mad if you hold them as servants. My own family got rid of all of ours after the Yankees invaded Texas. When you combine their Negroe savagery with the problems brought on by association with angry Yankees, it just wasn't worth the effort. Most of ours starved when we set them free.

Well, the Yankees might get mad, but God told me in His Holy Word that I am allowed to own these foreign people.

Joanna, welcome, from one Christian lady to another! You sound like a lovely lady and remind me of another fine Christian lady, Mrs. Joanna Vasey, who lives in heathen England. Anyway, welcome and I am excited to get to know you better. Any tips on how to be a good wife as according to the Bible are appreciated; I got married only 1.5 months ago, and am bearing my first child now.

And yet the Yankee's thirst for the blood of innocent Christians. They are especially anxious to kill off Texans, as we never surrendered to their godless might after the unpleasantness. Look at what they did to Brother David Koresh and the Branch Davidian congregation.

Dear Sister Joanna, please forgive my rudeness in not properly welcoming you to our friendly forum. I am afraid I was once again overtaken with bloodlust and have spent some time in pointless scheming about resuming the war against the hated Yankees. I became diverted, but I must remember that I have dedicated myself to Christ and be satisfied in knowing that the Yankees are well on the way to destroying and laying waste themselves. They have made a good start of it.
