Hello, I am James.

There are a few things you should know before reading on.
I am a homosexual male and I believe that being gay is perfectly fine and should not be looked down on. I told my parents I was gay and they said it was fine. I will NOT go to hell because of this

I don't go to church.

My favorite verse is 2 Kings 2:23-24 because I love how it shows that god likes to dismember young children.

I congratulate you on your honesty and courage to introduce yourself in a Forum where we follow God's Commands to the letter. That said, I must also admit that I am very concerned about the state of your soul... I agree also that having the homeysexual disposition per se does not inevitably cause you to go to Hell. If you refrain from fulfilling your urges and live a chaste life obeying God's Word, there is hope for you, you might one day be saved and get rid of your sinful choices! It is the ACT of sodomy that ultimately sends you to the Furnace.

As for your parents, they are also in grave danger. Endorsing sinful acts is exactly as bad as committing them.

Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them. Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things.

As I said, HOPE remains. For instance, the verse you chose is indeed magnificent! Elisha and the she-bears. It is a great choice. It shows that God is no sissy. He does not hesitate to smite His enemies although false Christians like to dismiss this facet of Jesus. This could be a good start for you on your path to potential SALVATION. I'm praying for you!

I am sorry but I am born homosexual and no-one (including god) will change that. It is a natural thing that is predetermined when you are born. Dear Child,

The verse if wonderful and awesome as it shows exactly why we must follow God. Not because we like Him or because He accepts everything but because through this overwhelming FEAR we can one day win His conditional love.

Ecclesiastes 12:13
Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.

Why would I follow a God who would just ignore anything and still let me into Heaven? There would be no point in that! But a God that is jealous (Exodus 34:14) and fearsome (Revelation 14:7) is surely a force to be reckoned with! We may not like all His acts but who are we to oppose an omnipotent deity. We play by His rules (Exodus 3:14) and they have been revealed to us in the Bible. It's that simple. When my feeble twisted ethics collide with God's clear instructions, I obey. A direct order from Jesus to kill his enemies (Luke 19:27) is an order you must obey! If the order is about your relatives, it is because Jesus tells us to hate them, anyway (Luke 14:26).

Of course, there is a reward!

You're confused, dear. It shows our God is a God of Mercy and Justice. Mercy cannot exist without Justice, and just as the doctor cuts the cancer out of the breast of the young mother to save her life, so too does the LORD cut the cancer out of society to save the souls of those who wish to Live (Romans 6:23).
