My name is David, I'm a Christian researcher and I also run a blog called "[ATTENTION WHORING REMOVED BY MODERATOR]" @ wordpress.com.

I'm new to this forum. I felt compelled to reply to a thread here regarding spontaneous human combustion and received a strange greeting or message that reads as follow:

I am a Christian and I don't use improper language nor speak trash and or non-sense as the message accused me of and quite frankly I am a little offended of such accusation.

If someone who has been here for awhile can tell me what I did wrong to deserve such a warning, I would gladly appreciate your input.
I think the message that I received was offensive and inappropriate without any justification.

Why not? The Bible says Jesus did (when necessary to get His point across) and was not shy of insulting those who disagreed with Him.

I'm starting to think you should read the Bible to see how a True Christian™ behaves:

Psalm 119:165 "Great peace have they which love thy law: And nothing shall offend them."

These people are more concerned with what Jesus thinks (as revealed in the Bible) than what you think.

Oh, and "Here is where you introduce yourself. Tell us what church you go to and what your favorite Bible verse is and how you came to find Jesus."

Concerning your biblical quote regarding that nothing shall offend us as Christians, why don't you try telling that to the person who got offended at my post calling it trash and non-sense?

And can you post one biblical reference where Jesus was using bad language like the one you are using on your name handle?

Mr. David,

Thank you for your question. We are not at all comparable to Jesus when it comes to bad language. He could really use insults when it was necessary to show sinners the way to Salvation. My two favorites (of course, there are many others) are as follows:

Matthew 17:17 Then Jesus answered and said, O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him hither to me.

Luke 9:41 And Jesus answering said, O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you, and suffer you? Bring thy son hither.



All of our guests are "unsaved trash" until our Department of Faith determines their true nature. I have been one. That is no obstacle for repentance, baptism and potential Salvation. To conduct our investigation in a proper manner, we'd like to know more about your path to Jesus, e.g., what is your Church and its denomination?

I agree that Jesus insulted the pharasis with the truth but he never used bad language like "Unsaved trash, Arrogant Atheist Dick" found underneath the previous poster's name handle.
Jesus insulted the pharasis because he knew they were the children of the devil and would never repent. From those who Jesus called vipers and serpents, how many of those repented?
Remember Nicodemus was not among these batch. Nicodemus went at night to seek Jesus because he was attracted to the message and his miracles not the insults.
Jesus never said to the adulterous woman, go and sin no more you worthless whore. Did he?we need to be careful how we treat those who need Christ, the goal is to attract them and win them to Christ not to insult them so they'll go away and continue to remain unsaved.

There is a balance walk that we must follow to gain others to Christ.

We have not given up hope for Mr. Much, although in the eyes of Jesus he remains a repulsive sinner When I think about his sorry sinful state I'm always reminded of the following glorious verse:

John 9:31
Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.

Now, based on this we now that we cannot give up hope. There is always the chance that Jesus will touch this man and make him repent. And - also according to the Gospel of John - we know that Jesus is actually listening. On the other hand, the revolting secular logic that Mr. Much utilizes in this Forum is something that Jesus totally disregards. He does not care. It is only the prayers of us True Christians™ that are effective prayers. We must not only worship Jesus but also follow His commandments. That is our task and it is not a easy one. Then he might not only hear our prayers but also grant our wish and show this abominable sinner among others the Way to God.

As for your partial goal "to attract them and win them to Christ"? That is a reasonable start but all this has been corrupted by the false Churches that swarm on Earth's disk: Catholics, Anglicans, Grease Orthodox, Lutherans, Methodists, Presbyterians, reformed... They all attract people (part 1 of your goal) and can win them over but they do not win these people over to the Real Christ! They are won over to a twisted straw man of a Christ, the only benevolent emotional marshmallow Jesus by totally disregarding one half of His glorious nature.

Jesus want to love us and give us entrance into Heaven but He only does this if you have faith and follow His commandments. It is these commandments that these false Christians nowadays forget. But in the Bible Jesus tells us what will happen to the disobedient ones!

Matthew 13:41-43
The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity [the sinners]; And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Then shall the righteous [that is us] shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

Hell and damnation are as real as Jesus! Surely we can attract people with nice words but - if we do so - we would be lying. We must tell the whole Truth™ and nothing but the Truth™. Sometimes the Truth™ is ugly and frightening. But we love the sinners enough not to lie to them.

That is why we are here. Praise Jesus!

Would you care to cite any example of us preaching something that is inconsistent with what the Bible says?
