Hello! Please look at the instructions for this forum and tell us where you go to church, how you found Jesus, and which Bible verse is your favorite.
And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.

      Hello there!

You are most welcome on our friendly forum. With God's help, we will do our best to help you!

Do you have any place you can go like family or other Christians in the vicinity? Maybe we can help you with getting yourself and children in safety. With God, everything is possible, don't worry for a moment!

2nd Corinthians 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
I take my orders from Jesus H. Christ, supernatural born US citizen

Be wary of false Kumbaya Christians who use a highlighter and scissors to read the Bible. God wants us to read the lines, not between the lines. False Christians will go to Hell:
      Matthew 7:22
Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
Matthew 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Asking a Christian to prove God exists is like asking him to prove his phone rings because yours doesn't. Make that call yourself! Dial 0800-get-on-your-knees-and-pray.

My favorite Bible verse is Mathew 7:12 Do unto others. I was saved through my 96 yr old grandma about 13 yrs ago when she was 83. I attend a Salvation Army Church, , but also checking other churches, until Jesus tells me I found the right one. I love the Newsboys and go to the cup of joy and brought my children to Christ

Welcome, grandma! If it's advice about the Christian Family that you need, then you've come to the right place! My own advice to you would be (to use the hip lingo of the kids today) kick him to the curbside, girlfriend!

Or lose the zero and find yourself a hero (Jesus Christ)!

Also, as you can see, if you need help speaking to the youngsters on their own terms and in their own words, I'm always delighted to help an older lady such as yourself. Just say the word and I'll give you some jiggy advice to get with! I know that sounds silly but it's what they say.

          Again, welcome.

            Re: hello

Welcome young lady. Many a lady has led a man from sin and to Church with the temptation of a slice of hot moist pie proffered by another lady. While I am sure your pie is still tender and succulent, a man needs change and to be shown that while other women have a slice available for him, yours is the best.
Imagine of you can, a row of pie slices, all dripping and sweet. Your husband trying each one and choosing yours as his favorite. Only at Church, under the steely watchful eyes of Jesus, can an indulgence like this be made with no bias. One of the cornerstones of free will. Many do not realize this but God wants us to choose. Start by choosing Jesus!
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

I want to thank everyone for their advice. Jesus hates divorce . he also forgives everyone's sins. I also believe a believer can lead a non believer to Christ. 1 Corintians 7:12-13 It also says to forgive Mark 11:25 , it also says to do good to people who have hurt you Luke 6:27

Why are you quoting to us from a non-KJV 1611 source?

To start with, use only KJV 1611. It's not that hard and it'll open the door to a little place Christians like to call Heaven

Hi grandma, what are you doing with the Sally Ann's? They are satans minions. Always bothering good Christians as they go about God's work. Please distance yourself from this neo nazi establishment
                  Isaiah 66:15

For behold, the Lord wil come with fire, and with his charets like a whirlewinde, to render his anger with furie, and his rebuke with flames of fire.

                    Hello Grandma,

It sounds like you are really trying but it sounds like you made your bed.

                    1 Corinthians 7:13

"And the woman which hath an husband that believeth not, and if he be pleased to dwell with her, let her not leave him."

But I do think a supplemental insurance policy may be in order. Grandpa could suffer a Righteous smite any day now.

"Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven." (Matthew 5:16)

"But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery." (Matthew 5:32)
